Decent almuerzo, bad breakfast - Edit
We went twice on the same day because there wasn't alot open. The breakfast was super basic and not very good (6 soles per person). Lunch was good, nothing amazing but big serves and tasty (8 soles person).

Best cheap eatery in Cajamarca! - Edit
This is the best place to grab a meal in Cajamarca, it is cheap, filled with locals, FILLING and the attention is very quick. When I went in March 2019 the menú of the day was 5 soles and included a drink, soup, a main, and a small dessert. Definitely the cheapest vegan (ask which options contain milk or egg, there aren't many of them honestly) menú that I have ever came across in the country. The artichoke soup is really good if you add some lime to it, and the portions are huge, especially the arroz a la jardinera with carne de soya. I strongly recommend this place, it opens until night sometimes and was a life saver when I was without a kitchen! Even the prices on the a la carte menú are very inexpensive, 5-15 soles max. Coman aquí!!

We tryed menú del día and a la carte and both was very tasty. Portion are really big and avarage price from menu is 8-10 soles which is awesome. Also stuff is very friendly

Great Menu of the Day - Edit
This place has been great for lunch. The menu of the day was 5 Soles and included a Soup (with quinoa), a large plate of rice with tomato based sauce with artichokes and a drink. We’ve been there at a Monday at about 14:30 pm and we got the last menus. So better come earlier!

No English spoken but very welcoming staff. They Veganized night set menu for me and gave large bowl of soup, rice, and salad with a drink - all for 4 soles ($1.20!). Food was good too, though not the best.

Probably the best I had in Cajamarca - Edit
I went there twice, one day for breakfast and one day in the afternoon. At breakfast I was a bit disappointed because the waiter seems very rude: the set menu was not available anymore and therefore I could only order a la carte BUT just the sandwiches. She told me to wait 30 min to be able to order other dishes. I didn’t wait and the sandwich was really just a bread with a slice of mock meat, no lettuce, no tomato, no care. In the afternoon I had a totally different experience (same waiter though). When I reached the place it was 3.40 pm, close to closure, but they let me in anyway. At 4pm they just closed the doors but they allowed me to finish my meal, while they were doing the cleaning. I ordered a lomo encebollado and it was cooked perfectly, very delicious! Recommended
