Delicious! - Edit
Dropped in for breakfast as I was in the area, ordered the Tandoori tofu scramble, and CFC (crispy fried chikn). The scramble was very good, had lots of pieces of vegetables and corn kernels which brought a freshness and is different to most scrambles out there. The tofu texture was really good, the Tandoori flavour was a little too subtle, but I still enjoyed it.
Read moreThe CFC. Omg, it was SO GOOD. The breading was that thick knobbly breading that KFC does, and the flavour was very reminiscent of their spices and herbs. I would be ordering this everyday if I lived nearby. Not sure what it was made of, it looked like stringy jackfruit, but did not taste anything like jackfruit.
The service was friendly and prompt. I couldn't fault it, and the area is very light and airy. There is also a big selection of pantry and fridge items. I bought a can of baked beans and sausages, which I have high hopes for, as it's from the UK.
Pros: CFC (crispy fried chikn) is DELICOUS, friendly service, great selection of pantry items

Friendly feed in Frankston - Edit
My mother-in-law lives in Frankston so we met here for lunch for her 70th birthday. It was pretty pumping on a Sunday, despite the 10% weekend surcharge. The staff were young, friendly, and efficient.
Read moreI didn't have high hopes based on the Happy Cow reviews so I played it safe and decided on a BRAT. My husband suggested we share that and one of the specials so we took a risk and ordered the lamb souva tacos. Both exceeded my expectations! The "lamb" was tender, marinated in tasty spices but it was a little oily. The "bacon" was cooked crispy - some of the best I've ever had! Salad fillings were fresh, sauces creamy and flavourful but a bit messy. The BRAT was served on a nice, soft, bubbly Turkish roll.
Coffee was reasonable as well but I wouldn't go there just for that. We shared a couple of raw slices for dessert but I am not usually much of a fan of those so wouldn't recommend. There's a range of groceries and sweet items and a small gift shop selling chintzy hair clips, earrings, scarves, etc - a bit weird! I did enjoy eating amongst their flourishing indoor plants though.

Really poor experience, not worth the visit - Edit
I really hate to publicly share negative experiences about a cafe that says it's vegan (bottle of honey was clearly displayed) and I rarely do but the experience was so poor here, we'd never return. The staff are young but so apathetic, rude and condescending. Every transaction was difficult and the rudeness was unreal. We hear how vegan businesses are struggling but it didn't seem like it here with the attitudes. It was difficult to to order because they were sold out but the staff just said she didn't know. Didn't try to find out and then said it didn't exist when it was clearly written on the specials board behind them but we ordered a few things that were in stock (buns were out so had burger on bread which we understand stock issues) including the onion rings with aioli and when the onion rings were dropped off, we asked about aioli and staff member rolled her eyes and said 'she didn't know'. We asked for it anyway and she just didn't return.😂 Not that they were too busy where she was overwhelmed with others, but actually refused by being passive aggressive because we asked for it despite it being outlined on the receipt. After waiting 5 mins and seeing the original staff member standing behind the counter talking, we asked a second staff member for the aioli who said it cost extra and we said it was on our receipt and showed her but hadn't received it. She said she'd bring it and we waited another 5 mins or so and they were getting cold so ate them. Finally brought it later when we were completely done. Such a bizarre encounter and it's clear customer service just doesn't matter here. We drove an hour to support another vegan business but it wasn't worth it.
Read morePros: "Vegan" food despite bottles of honey visible, Cute vibes if you exclude staff attitude , Menu looks nice, most things weren't available
Cons: Staff were rude and condescending, Paid for items we never received, Lack of care overall

Good for Frankston - Edit
A bit hit-and-miss, depending on staffing. I’ve had a couple of decent meals here, but would avoid the following:
Read more1. pulled shiitake ‘tacos’: two soft shells with a bed of coleslaw and pulled shiitake drowned in so much sriracha mayo that you couldn’t taste anything else. The $10 ‘picnic bar’, which was melted when I arrived home, was essentially a block of sweetened coconut oil coated in some sort of chocolate topping
2. broccoli and corn ‘fritters’ with rocket ‘salad’: burger-style patties with a rocket garnish and half an avo topped with hummus
Coffee is good.

Pros: Veg in Frankston, Decent hot drinks, Close to the beach
Cons: Dairy milk unnecessarily offered in hot beverages, Service and food a bit hit and miss

Totally agree - very average food. So disappointing when this could be so good. Also turned me off when owner blatantly flouting covid rules during lockdowns

I thought the broccoli fritters sounded good on the menu but luckily I'd seen your review and pic - they look sad and dry! Glad I didn't order them.

This is hands down the best vegan place I've ever eating! We ordered the pancakes and avocado toast - both were amazing! The coffee was delicious too! Really cool space with local jewelry and clothing, a mini market, small pastry/bakery section, and outside seating. A "must go-to" when in the area!

This is my favourite vegan cafe in Melbourne and surrounds. I've been here so many times I can't give a particular review for one occasion; breakfast, lunch or dinner are always amazing here. They have a seasonal menu which changes every few months, keeping up with the weather and providing a good variety. Always a selection of delicious cakes in the fridge and vegan grocery items available from the shelving. Staff are always friendly, decor is bright and engaging, cafe is always clean.

A complete nurturing experience - Edit
Delicious and slightly sinful food, the kind that's halfway between brunch and fast food, with all the faux animal products to make my taste buds sing. The BLAT was epic, that bun, oh my! So fluffy. My hot drinks came served in a repurposed tetra milk carton, oh my heart. So very very impressed. Think my uber eats delivery dude ate my first order coz it smelt so good!

Good option and great it is open on a Sunday note review before their stance on COVID vaccination certificates - Edit
24/10/21 having seen their ridiculous post about vaccination certificates being discriminatory, I can’t support this business.
Read moreI went here with my meat eating family. I had the nachos and vegan iced coffee. It was tasty and the nachos weren’t covered in cheese and guacamole which was good. My brother had the toasted cheese and my mum had the snack plate. Both of them really liked their meals. Service was friendly and the decor was nice. It’s somewhere I’d like to go again. Hope they veganise the pancakes! If I lived near here, ithis would definitely be a regular option.

Have to go up to order. Not really clear on service level. Blue colado smoothie and Staying Alive burger were yum. Polenta wedges are good but not like chips. Vietnamese noodle salad would have been better if noodles were warm instead of cold.
