Tranquil comfort , great food, hospitality - Edit
This B&B, 3 cottages and one dorm , is veg-friendly and eco conscious. The multi lingual owners operate an Italian restaurant open to the public (except Mondays) 6-10PM and for guests, a generous breakfast is included : tropical fruits, pancakes or omelette, homemade bread and cake, local fruit jams , cereal, creamy local milk. It's located a few miles from the Interamerican highway, on the Las Lajas turnoff, in a tree and flower filled garden, so the grounds are quiet and bikes can be rented to explore the area and the famous beachfront. The owners understand vegan and vegetarian diets, so can adjust menu options. Many dinner sized salads , pastas and pizzas are available and local produce is used.
A relaxing getaway and do-able for vegans --the local mini super sells soy and rice milk.The chef has learned to make the best pizza crust I've had in Central America: crispy, lightly charred....
