CLOSED: Natural Vybz Rootz Cafe

We were strongly encouraged to try this amazing food by our villa managers and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious. Creative, flavorful and so delightfully healthy! The owners were very warm and kind. We would totally go back again!

My family and I have been visiting the VIs for almost 10 years now, and this is by far the best food we have ever found! It is creative, authentic, and delicious. Nothing like the standard fare you'll find in most of the towns. We ordered plates of everything, which included 6-7 unique dishes that incorporated all of the food groups, including fresh greens with some phenomenal dressing! Especially being in such an isolated location, it was great knowing that the food was locally sourced.

The owners were very welcoming and kind. He climbed up the coconut tree in the yard and cut down some fruit for us, and we enjoyed our coconut water as she gave us a tour of the backyard garden and taught us about the ethnobotanical uses of the plants.

We had so much fun we went back the next day, and loved it again!

This place is a must-visit if you are on St. John, and definitely worth the ferry ride if you are on another island!

This is an Vegan only outdoor restaurant with the best food I have experienced. Wonderful owners. Great service. Great vibe. I look forward to this place on every visit to St. John. I literally can not say enough kind words for this establishment. Just order a plate of a bit of everything they have made that day. You will not be disappointed.

One of my daughters is gluten free so asked for her plate with no gluten items, no problem.

Drinks are all made on site from fresh fruit!

Open from noon until they sell out of fresh food so come early and enjoy!

Turn right at the basketball court and is just up the road on the right before the steep hill.
