Best vegan brownies ever! - Edit

Now this place was a great fund with a great range of goods and some fantastic vegan lunches but it is the amazing vegan chocolate brownies that stick in my mind...to die for!

Pros: Choc brownies, wide range of goods

A diamond in the rough - Edit

I was pleasantly surprised at the variety this shop had to offer. The comprehensive collection trumps many health food stores I have been to. Paired with a friendly cafe (which stocks the renowned Funky Pies from Bondi), this is a must for both locals and visitors.

The interior is quite rustic, which adds to the experience. The brown and cozy embrace makes the most of the small space. The store is geared more towards offering bulk foods and odd bits for your pantry. However, it also provides many hygiene products - soaps, toothpastes, etc. Overall, an advanced inventory, especially for being located in a smaller city like Newcastle.

The whole foods menu offers a variety of choice for a hungry vegan. There are wraps and sandwiches offered, but the Funky Pies products are always a safe bet. The innovative collaboration of an organic shop and cafe provides customers convenience and satisfaction; no matter what they choose to spend their time on.

Perfect - Edit

Natural Tucker is a great little shop in town. It is well established and stocked with a good range of vegan products. Considering how little the shop is, the stock available is very comprehensive. Yesterday, I was able to just pop and and by delicious Adzuki Bean and Kumara burger. Yum!
The staff are always lovely, too :)

mediocre at best - Edit

I had the Lebanese wrap and the Malaysian wrap. both really not great... bland food. first just tasted like full on parsley and second was just sweet chilli sauce. I can't recommend either of those wraps. maybe their other food is better. they have a decent amount of vegan options. but blah.

Fresh and Healthy and Tasty - Edit

Lots of vegetarian wraps in mexican style and felafel and using Syndian products like pumpkin bites, etc. Tempeh and tofu. I had the kumera patty wrap and my partner had the mexican burger. We also tried the hot vegie roll but I thought it was like frozen vegetables inside which I don't like. This was overcome by the yummy soy latte and organic drinks and freshly made wraps and burgers. Will definitely go again when in Newcastle! I've been again twice and had a yummy mexi-burger and also a felafel wrap, so yummy! They have started serving Funky Pies and Byron Bay pies so that makes up for their disappointing hot vegie roll.
