Nice restaurant - Edit
One of the best well run small vegetarian restaurants I have seen. They double checked everything and made sure order is correct. It was crowded but they had a system that seems to be working.

Nice options - Edit
Seems like it should be vegan but it’s not haha… everything can be made vegan though, just be sure to say that in advance. The wraps are loaded and flavorful. The black bean burger was perfectly spiced. The smoothies are bomb.

Super delicious food!! - Edit
Really delicious food with plentiful vegan options!! Sandwiches and cakes were all amazing! Teas and coffees. Restroom inside. Outside dining available too. Free parking outside. Friendly staff. We got food to go to take into the Joshua Tree National Park as there are no food facilities inside the park.

Busy but worth it - Edit
Vegan options marked, non dairy mills available for drinks (no oat milk though). Expect to spend 20min browsing the nearby shops while you wait if it’s a nice day.

Convenient yet hyped - Edit
Convenient to have a lot of vegan options right as you enter the park! Although the food doesn’t impress me enough to give 5 stars. It is very simple and healthy though. The lentil curry soup was actually really good though.

Great Vegan Breakfast - Edit
I tried the vegan scram one day, a veggie/hummus wrap, and the vegan breakfast sandwich the next, and I enjoyed them all! Perfect breakfast spot, plus decent selection of to-go food to take for a day in the park. We came back the next day for breakfast again!

New favourite breakfast spot - Edit
I loved this cafe so much we went there 2 days in a row. My vegan breakfast sandwich was to die for, the veggie sausage patties great and their coffee good (and we were able to get them in our own mugs). I also tried the vegan/ gluten free double chocolate muffin- yum! I definitely recommend this spot!

Best Vegan Option in J Tree! - Edit
Loved this spot. They have great vegan options, the staff is super friendly, and the food is great! I loved that there were healthy options too. I got the vegan scram and LOVED it. The person I was with who is pretty averse to oils and fats also got it and didn’t like how much vegan cheese was on it, but I liked the cheese. If you don’t want it you can ask for it to be taken off. I also got a green juice.

Only veg/vegan spot on J tree but a little oily! - Edit
I got the vegan scram, and while I was so relieved to have something fresh and vegan in J Tree it was definitely with a lot of oil (and I’m someone who loves loads of oil normally) plus it sort of felt heated up in a microwave! But the lavender lemonade was to die for!!!! So incredible!!

Very good selection. - Edit
I really enjoy the hummus wrap and the sides are quite good as well. Very healthy and delicious. Higher prices as this is a tourist town. The only improvement would be going 100% vegan!

Delightful - Edit
Very excited to find this spot in Joshua tree. They have great smoothies, salads & sandwiches with several vegan options / easy to veganize items. There were a handful of vegan desserts, too, though we opted to go to Boo’s Bakery next door for something sweet (also quite good).

Best Cherry Pie - Edit
This place has the best cherry pie I’ve ever eaten. It is sooooo good. I also had the vegan egg salad sandwich, the tofu scramble and the chili. All were decent. Generous portions. The vegan sourdough bread is pretty good.

All around delightful! - Edit
Delightful little establishment. They offer a wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Service was quick and friendly. Walk up to the counter, place your order and it will be brought out your table😄I had the warm curried rice wrap with potato salad on the side. My husband had the avocado and veggie sandwich with added hummus and a quinoa salad on the side. We also shared the steamed vegetables and an amazing (gigantic) slice of vegan carrot cake. Everything was so delicious 😋 Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone in the Joshua Tree area!

The chop salad with tahini dressing was superb! One of the best salads I’ve had in a long time. Had the tofu scramble earlier and it was just okay. Green juice was great. Salad and vegan carrot cake were really magnificent.

What a breath of fresh air in the middle of the desert! - Edit
The food is fresh and the portions are generous, not too salty like other prepared foods. They have fresh juice, smoothies, plenty of vegan options, and you leave feeling pretty stuffed. We went back the very next day for lunch. Could be busy during meal times, need to wait a bit to order and get your food. Limited seating. Next door is a health food store and on Saturdays there’s the Farmers Market in the parking lot. The next time I’m near JT, I am definitely going to make a stop here for some good food.

Good food in Joshua tree - Edit
Had the white bean soup and curried rich wrap. Both were really delicious. It was great being able to find vegan options right by a national park. The double chocolate muffin was amazing. It's a small place so I'm sure it could fill up fast during the busy season

Unexpected gem in the middle of high desert! - Edit
As a couple of vegans visiting Joshua Tree, we did not have high hopes for finding tasty & local vegan food. We brought a lot of our own groceries for our trip. This was the only place that I wanted to try based on it’s Happy Cow rating but our airbnb host told us the place was “boring as beige”. After trying the place for ourselves we strongly disagree. We got the eggless tofu sandwich on rye and the avocado & veggie sandwich on sourdough with vegan cheese & hummus as add-ons. They also include a pickle spear ad choice of quinoa salad or bag of chips. We were blown away at how simple yet delicious the combination of flavors were. It seriously hit the spot and was the perfect meal for this hot weather. We are looking forward to stopping by tomorrow on our way out of town for a slice of their vegan pie which was highly recommended by the (super nice) staff. Thank you Natural Sisters Cafe!!
