No vegan cake (members cafe) - Edit
We visited the members only cafe whilst at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Birds: Brilliant and Bizarre exhibitions - both well worth going to! We wanted something sweet with our coffee afterwards, but there was absolutely nothing vegan on offer - a massive disappointment, especially at one of the biggest museums in London….. We did notice there was a couple of vegan options on the menu if you wanted food, but still the menu was heavily weighted towards meat and dairy. They did have oat milk for coffee.

Cons: No sweet vegan options , Very few vegan options on the menu

Not bad - Edit
I ordered a delicious juice and a vegan burger. It wasn't the best that I've ever tested, but it works for me.

Disappointing, just make it all vegan! - Edit
Went to the Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition.

So disappointing to see animals, also fishes, being served in the restaurants in the museum. 😥
They could really set an example here.

Pricy - Edit
Not many options and I know this is London but £6 for a basic sandwich is ridiculous.
Read moreEnded up just getting a lemonade which was nice.
If you're coming to the museum I'd recommend just taking a packed lunch.

Some vegan options - Edit
There are some vegan options, but I think places like these should be 100% vegan to set an example.

The pizza at the T.Rex restaurant was delicious, way better than expected. We also had the strawberry lemonade which we really liked as well.

The T.Rex restaurant's chickpea salad - Edit
Had the sumac chickpea salad with strawberry fresh lemonade. The salad could have more other ingredients, it had quite a big amount of chickpeas. The salad was big enough and had a nice taste. I appreciate that one can find a vegan salad with plant protein and not always just burgers. The strawberry lemonade was lovely.

Better than expected, but hoped for more vegan options - Edit
We enjoyed our vegan röti, though it's not comparable to true dining and restaurant experiences. However we think it'd be great if they went fully vegan or at least vegetarian because of the message it's trying to convey in the museum.

Vegan food in museum - Edit
I was so glad to find some vegan options in a museum cafe that it automatically gets 3 stars. Otherwise, classic sandwich/salad options with one vegan cake.

What a surprise to see some vegan options for lunch and even for cakes, wasn't expecting to see this!

Practice what yor preach, pls. - Edit
The main restaurant offers chicken, meat and milk. A museum with exhibits about "men eating earth" / "Our Broken Planet" should practice what it preaches and not serve animal-derived food. It's embarrassing.
