I am vegan and I do most of my grocery shopping here. All the produce is organic. Makes things easier when I don't have to pick through conventional to find organic. You won't find much to eat (on the run) here. They have some vegan deserts and some humus wraps that are good but because there is no deli, lunch food items are limited.

Great selection of organic and vegan items, and most of them priced quite competitively (usually less than Whole Foods, with rare exceptions).
We really appreciate that all of their fresh produce is organic, which makes produce shopping simpler and more enjoyable.
Very friendly employees too, which always makes the visit a very nice, community experience. :-)
It would only be better if they didn't sell meat.

Nasty game of Hide and Seek - Edit
It is a total waste of money to purchase reduced produce at Natural Grocers. They hide their rotten tomatoes, lettuce, grapes, lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits in plastic bags instead of tossing their waste in the dumpster like all other grocery stores. Natural Grocers bags it. You do not know it is unusable until you get home and open the bag. Oh, did I mention, what you walk out the door with is NON REFUNDABLE.

mickey_and_sam 03 Mar 2017 - How is it the store's fault that you weren't thorough in double checking your produce before purchasing? The fact that they DON'T just "toss their waste in the dumpster like all other grocery stores" is a GOOD thing! Reduces waste! To say that they lack in integrity because of this is wrong. They actually rank HIGH in integrity because they do this!
