This shop went for a model where they block the door to the shop with a table, you can walk up to the table and ask for the things you want to buy.
The staff will pick your items and put them on the table, plenty of distance between you and the member of staff.
The staff has acted with very different level of cautiousness during the lock-down.
The customer service and shopping experience has really gone down-hill in this period from end March. Now it is 6th August and you still can't walk into the shop and pick the things you like and the customer service is absolute none existing😒- had the worse experience ever today!
Time for me to find a new place to shop.
I love this local shop which is run as a co-op. They’re always at the forefront of sourcing ethical products, have a massive & ever-expanding vegan range & the lovely, helpful staff will go out of their way to find what you want, even ordering things in specially! Highly recommend supporting this brilliant business 👍
Friendly little shop in the lovely Headingley. Friendly vibe. Some nice products on offer but the size obviously limits this which is understandable. Prices can be a bit high but to be expected. Would return again and glad it is here!
They sell everything from fair trade tea over egg free mayonnaise to vegan bakery products. The prices are moderate to expensive. But the quality makes up for the price. They also have locally produced bread from a college in Leeds.
And they sell vegan chocolate ice cream. :)
And I do agree, visit R K Harris and Sons across the street. Although they don't just do bio, their fruit and veg is great. And the price is even better there. Always nice, always cheap and the combination of the two stores makes you forget about Sainsbury's or Morrison's
A splendid shop this - it stocks pretty much everything you are likely to need. Chain-store competition cannot match it for prices or range, and there is a splendid greengrocers right opposite. Both are worth a visit. Many years' ownership by knowledgeable and friendly couple, supplemented by neighborhood community association. One of the jewels of Headingley.

Everything you need - Edit
Small shop that packs in all the usual whole foods needed for a vegan diet along with treats and some cosmetic items.
Read moreAgree with the last reviewer though, some of the staff can be frosty as hell and patronising.
