Lunch - Edit
This vegan restaurant offers healthy cooking in a traditional and family atmosphere. Their meal of the day was satisfying and well-balanced, while the arroz chino was flavorful with fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned soy sausages. Their vegan ice cream was a delightful sweet finish (sweetened with stevia, you don’t even feel it) creamy and rich.

Excellent food - Edit
Food was very good here, and this is probably my favorite veggie restaurant in Armenia. Right in the middle of town too. As of October 2023 the meal of the day costs 15,000 pesos. It included a juice drink, a bowl of bean soup and the main plate with five items (see photos below). Very friendly service and good flavors. Note that this restaurant and store is now all located on the ground floor. When you enter the restaurant you need to pay for your meal first and get a receipt from the cashier. Then go to the steam table and get a tray and silverware and present your receipt to the person who puts all the food on plates and gives them to you. Carry your food to any table that you would like and enjoy your meal.

Healthy vegan - Edit
Healthy lunch at a reasonable price. It's a big place with a shop that sells all the usual products and of course the restaurant. Would visit again

Lovely garden setting with a great menu of the day - Edit
The buffet style menu of the day was a reasonable 10,000 pesos with veg and vegan options. The food and drinks are free of added sugar. The food is plentiful and tasty. Unfortunately, I won't be able to come back, but if you're in Armenia I can highly recommend it. It's straight up the pedestrian walkway past where the cars return for 10-15 mins from Plaza Bolivar. It's on the right before the overpass.

Nice vegan buffet - Edit
Natural Food Plaza is a big place, with a shop and garden seating. You can order a few menu items (burger, crepes, bandeja paisa) or from the buffet - a salad, choice of two soups, choice of juice, main and small dessert. Good food, fully vegan AND open Sundays!

fantastic vegan feast - Edit
(It is frustrating to submit corrections to Happy Cow and have them ignored. This review includes current and correct information.)
Read moreNatural Food Plaza is two businesses in one location: a natural foods store on the street level, offering whole-grain breads, cookies, grains, organic fruits and veggies. Open 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday-Friday.
The restaurant (formerly El Rincon in a different location) is on the second floor. Open for lunch, the main meal of the day, 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Served buffet style; the servers fill your plate. Offers choice of soup, entree, salad, a tiny dessert, and juice/soy milk; COP$7000 (US$4). Outside those hours, between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. you can order off the menu. Open Sunday-Friday.
This is possibly the best vegan restaurant I have ever eaten at. The atmosphere is elegant, with while tablecloths and black-suited waiters. The food is of nearly gourmet quality, served in ample portions. Example: whole-wheat crepes served with your choice of 3 exquisite fillings (I tried them all!).
The business is run by a Seventh-Day Adventist community which grows the food organically on their farm. It doesnt get any better than this.
Pros: superb food, reasonable prices, organic
