Small Restaurant in Futako Tamagawa - Edit
So glad I could find a vegan option in this area. About 10 minutes from Futako Tamagawa station. The food and dessert was both healthy and satisfying. I also had a mango soy drink which was very refreshing.

Great food - Edit
One of the few establishments with vegan options in the area. I had the daily lunch set with pumpkin croquettes, and my husband had the daily lunch set with tofu stuffed with natto. They confirmed that the miso soup is vegan, and that they use shiitake and kombu for the stock base. Everything tasted great!

Best spot for vegan food in Nicotama - Edit
I go here almost once a week and it’s always delicious. I find the set plate super filling and they make amazing soy kara-age!

Meh... - Edit
This is about ten minutes' walk from Futakotamagawa Station, a small shop, typical organic/health food theme, pleasant enough to sit in. Two tables (one for two people, one for four) plus a counter that can seat maybe four more people. Service friendly. This is neither a vegan nor a vegetarian place but the menu is nevertheless predominantly vegan. They do have a couple of (actual) chicken and fish dishes. We tried the fake chicken and the croquette lunch dishes. We thought the food was average at best when compared to similar places like Kushi Garden, ain soph or T's. The portions were small (average by Japanese standards maybe) and the taste was "meh". When in Futako-TMG, I recommend Moti in the Rise building (part of the station). This, too, is not a vegan place but they have plenty of good options and the manager is vegan himself.
