Healthy&tasty! - Edit
Had a vegan burger and vegan tamales with chocolate drink and verde juice. Food was both tasty and healthy. The patty in burger was so good. Tamal is really good too.
Read moreThe only reason for 4 stars (not 5) is because it’s not fully vegan..

Pretty good place considering location... - Edit
We stayed a few days in Campeche and this place is the only vegetarian place in the centre. It's basically a shop with a small cafe at the back, the shop is open all day until late, but the cafe only serves food from 8am-3pm, they do breakfast (available all day), burgers and sandwiches.
Read moreSeating is on stools at the back. Our hotel was really close so we got a takeaway and ate in our courtyard.
We got the tostadas with Estofado mince and the chori soya torta and both were nice.
The food is simple home-cooked fare, nothing to write home about, but it was tasty, filling and very good prices. And was the only place we could find a real (balanced) vegan meal in Campeche (which wasn't just a vegan cheese pizza or guacamole!).
Plus the shop does soya mince and chunks, good to stock up on if you plan on cooking yourself.
Pros: Great prices (most dishes are 65 pesos), Tasty, Fully vegetarian place
Cons: Not open in the evenings :(

Store + small seating area or takeout - Edit
This place has several vegan products and options in their menu. The seating area is very small, so keep that in mind. The burguer and torta were delicious.

Practical shop for vegans - Edit
If you travel long term and cook by yourself, sometimes it's nice to find affordable vegan protein powder (for example: 500 grams hemp/rice-powder for 225 pesos!), soy chunks or other stuff. This is the place! They also offer homemade organic cookies. I hadn't had a warm dish there.

Good vegan burgers, salad and juices - Edit
Lovely little health food shop with an attached kitchen serving vegan burgers, a salad and possibly sandwiches that can be made vegan. The serving size is huge and prices very reasonable (55 pesos for a salad, 60 for a burger). Offering isn’t huge but good for a little snack and stocking up on dried soya products

Abierto y rico ! - Edit

Lame effort - Edit
Not a fan of places like this. They have lots of health products but most of them are probably inhert due to the soaring temperatures inside the store.
Read moreThe vegan food was pretty rubbish. The quinoa salad was a huge plastic container of grated carrot with a few leaves atop. A single teaspoon of quinoa sprinkled over it.
The burger wasnt too bad but the bun was stale and soggy in the centre. Tell tale signs of a frozen, microwaved burger.
Pros: The only joint in town
Cons: Naff food, Crazy hot inside

Good Option - Edit
Not many options in Campeche so I was happy to find Natura 2000 which is very centric. It is a small fast food style corner in a health store. The food and choices are OK, nothing to write home about but also not as bad as other reviews described it... I was satisfied with my breakfast tacos and tamales, as you can see in the photo they have several sauces to use on the counter (maybe they solved it after reading the previous reviews?). Good choice of beverages.

Good atmosphere, not crazy about the food - Edit
I went there in December 2015 and had the veggie soup and the enchilada with soy meat. The veggie soup was a typical German/European style veggie soup, which some people might find too bland, but for me it was a nice glimpse of home. I did not like the enchilada at all. Like the reviewer before me said, there was almost no sauce and no spices. It was dry and the taste was simply not good in my opinion. On the positive side, I liked sitting under the trees and petting the dog. I would not want to go to this restaurant again, however.

Disappointing - Edit
Okay, one probably should think too much of a "five" when it's only got two reviews, but I did manage to get disappointed. I'm a sucker for veggie burgers and try them whenever I get the chance, but this one was the worst I had during almost 2.5 months around Mexico. Damp bread, dry burger (soy though - yay), uninspired vegetables and a serious lack of salsa. Wouldn't want to put a "one" on one of so few vegetarian restaurants, but it was darn close. It's a health shop that sells some snacks in a back corner. If you're desperately tired of quesadillas ...

Burger for Breakfast - Edit
Visited on 18th June 2012. We went here quite early in the day and both had Mexican burgers without cheese to take away. I think most items on the menu can be made vegan. The dining area and service hatch are at the back of a well stocked little health shop. Only £1 for a vegi burger! Only £1 or less for practically everything on the menu! Must recommend!
