Simple cheap food - Edit
It is NOT open until 8pm. It is a small health food shop that seems to serve a set meal at lunchtime. We got there at 5pm and we're lucky that someone was still there to give us their leftovers from lunch.

Je suis allée 2 fois à ce restaurant - un mercredi et le jeudi d’après. Leur menu change tous les jours et ils ne sont ouverts que pour les repas de midi.
Read moreJ’ai pris à chaque fois le menu: 1er jour sopa Blanca Assado végano (seitan grillé avec du riz et de la patate douce - j’ai oublié de faire la photo); 2eme jour sopa de trigo quinua à la jardinera (quinoa avec des haricots verts et carottes).
Je n’ai pas été déçue, le contraire. Ils font même à emporter si vous en avez besoin (j’ai demandé à emporter l’assado vegane le 1er jour et le 2eme jour à emporter un sandwich de seitan).
C’est majoritairement fréquenté par des locaux, les proprios sont super sympas et expliquent chaque plat si vous demandé.

THE vegetarian restaurant in town - Edit
STILL OPEN. NO NEW ADRESS. There is not much for vegetarians and vegans in town. A lot offers are super expensive. Here we ate a Quinoa-soup, a salad from the salad bar, main dish and had (in the last comment mentioned) a bizarre drink (I guess aloe-based). 8 soles!

We had a little shot of papaya mousse, vegetable soup with barley, glass of some bizzare drink and for main- rice with pumpkin stew and soy meat with potatoes (had a name in Spanish but can't remember now). All tasty, some parts a bit cold (corn, potatoes), but otherwise good.

We went with a vegan friend and for our unpleasant surprise the personal told us that they have nothing for vegans, all is with cheese.

I can confirm as of 2018 that it's still at the Tacna location. Menú was eight soles for ensalada, sopa, bebida, and segundo. Serves dairy.

Excellent Local Restaurant - Edit
Restaurant serves a set menu of the day. Is a veggie restaurant but were happy to accommodate a vegan. Excellent amount of food, with a drink included, for a ridiculously cheap price (5soles). Didn't speak any English but were very helpful and happy to speak pigeon Spanish with us.
