Nice place full of locals

Nice place full of locals. One of the few vegan restaurants that's open on a Sunday (though it seems to be closed on Saturday).
Had a nice soup for Bs 5 plus cookie for Bs 2

Great local place

This restaurant is very popular among the locals: during lunch time it's full and you will have to stay a little bit in a queue, but there is always a free table to sit. The place now has two floors. Food is delicious and very traditional, a good place to try some indigenous food, very recommendable. Not everything is vegan, so ask about it.

Pros: Local people, Local food

Cons: It's great, really

very cheap and nice

Food is nice but not always vegan - you have to ask! It's quite overcrowded by locals so you always have an opportunity to interesting conversation ;) They have nice shop with herbs and vegetarian food.

Pros: vege shop, nice food, very cheap

Cons: not always suitable for vegans

Good, Indigenous-Style Food

We tried this place once while we were here, but wished we would have found it sooner. The daily-changing menu seems to be very Andean-Indigenous styled. When we ate here, the vegan option on the menu was a plate of 3 different types of andean tubers with a good sauce and some wheat gluten which was interesting and very filling. The soup was rice and basil and was very good. We enjoyed this place, and it would definitely be worth checking out, especially for the price!

Pros: Good, Indigenous Food, Very Inexpenive, Filling

Cons: Not 100% Vegan, Can Be Crowded

Hey Vegansoapdude, thanks for the great info on this place. It is very, very hard to find vegan versions of some of the indigenous foods in Bolivia.
