I loved my visit to this beautiful restaurant. The shared antipasti platter was excellent, as was the tortelli and tiramisu. The secondi courses seemed less appealing but we didn't order any so I can't comment on the quality of those dishes. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The wine was delicious - all bottles were similarly priced (EUR 24-26). Highly recommended.

The dish of the day is ace for lunchtime: flavorful, balanced, complete and cheap (comes with complimentary cold tea or soup for a tiny extra).
The menù a la carte is seasonal varied and well thought out, perfect when you want to pamper yourself with something more elaborated. I am a fan of their first courses (the creamy bell pepper risotto taken last time was delicious) and, among the side dishes, I always get the Baked pumpkin, which is top notch.
The staff is great. Friendly and attentive, they believe in what they do and make you feel at home.
Finally, for me, a mention deserves the view of the park, which I appreciate especially at lunchtime when the weather is good thanks to the large window walls

Questo ristorante è per me una certezza e si presta a varie occasioni.
il piatto misto del giorno è una salvezza per la pausa pranzo: saporito, bilanciato, completo ed economico!
Il menu à la carte, stagionale, da ampie soddisfazioni ed è variegato e ben studiato quando ci si vuole coccolare. Io sono un fan dei loro primi (il risotto alla crema dei peperoni preso l'ultima volta era delizioso) e, tra i contorni, prendo sempre la Zucca al forno di inverno, che adoro.
Lo staff è amichevole e attento, crede in quello che fa e ci si sente molto a casa. Infine, per me, una menzione la merita la vista sul parco, che apprezzo tantissimo in orario di pranzo quando c'è bel tempo, valorizzata dalle ampie vetrate perimetrali.

Il benvenuto è una zeppola fritta di lievito madre con carote e zucchine (credo), ne avrei mangiate diciassette. L’antipasto condiviso è stato incredibile, ogni elemento presente su quel tagliere è stato disposto con la sua salsina di accompagnamento con una cura e uno studio che saltano subito agli occhi. Selezione di birre ottima. Materie prime di qualità e si sente. Il seitan si scioglieva in bocca. Ottimo. Vale ogni centesimo.

Incredible food & service. Favourite place in Rome - Edit
We tried to walk in on a Friday night and they were fully booked, which is apparently the usual and after attending on Sunday I am not surprised. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed so warmly and that continued throughout our entire meal, which was some of the nicest food I have ever eaten paired with a delicious white wine. Everything was so good that I ordered two desserts despite having a mixed starter, a main and a side! I struggled to walk for the rest of the afternoon but it was totally worth it and I’d do it again. Just a short ride outside Rome city centre, a must visit if you are in Rome

Another Excellent Spot in Roma! - Edit
I made reservations each night I was in Rome at a restaurant based off of the reviews you all left. I saw nothing but great things said about this place so reservations were made.
Read moreI arrived for my 2030 reservation and was seated immediately outside. Menu is available via QR code scan. I ordered an Arancini, gazpacho soup, bruschetta, and sphagettoni. Also was given an amuse bouche, which seems to be the norm in Italy.
Out of the appetizers, I enjoyed the Gazpacho the most. It was served cold which was unbeknownst to me at the time. My pasta was good as well but came out a little lukewarm. Service was a little slow, in my opinion, but it could just be my American standards when it comes to customer service.
All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when I return to Rome.

Cannot recommend this place more. Worked out at £40 a head (including tip) for my husband and I to have a four course meal and a drink each, but the experience felt like a more expensive restaurant - and you could, of course, pay less by ordering fewer courses!

It’s definitely worth going outside of the touristic area to have an actual vegan experience! You should reserve a table otherwise the chance to get a table is very low as it is crowded.

This place is truly a hidden gem. It is a bit further away but that’s why I can absolutely recommend this place. Most of the places feel like too touristy but this restaurant has a very creative menu with Italian dishes I was looking forward to! If you’re in Rome don’t shy away from visiting this restaurant. This is an excellent vegan restaurant. We enjoyed our dinner at Nativa very much. The menu was imaginative and the execution first class. Flavours were subtle and classical rather than 'in your face'. Service was very attentive with the two owner(s), who were clearly enthusiastic about their restaurant, in attendance. The restaurant space is large and airy with the tables well-spaced. The decor is simple and relaxing. The restaurant is pricey but vegan restaurants in Rome tend to be quite expensive and our meal was certainly well worth the bill.
Read moreThe only real negative is the location which for a visitor to Rome is inconvenient. West of Vatican City, it is a metro or bus ride (and note that inexplicably the metro seems to close at 9:00 PM), and is located in a somewhat insalubrious area opposite a laundrette and next to a take-away. We wondered whether we were in the right neighbourhood when we were looking for the restaurant. Nonetheless, when we are in Rome again we will return but this time have a taxi pick us up!

Read moreThe owner as well as the rest of the staff gave us such a warm welcome and great service throughout. Even though we mixed up our reservation and came one hour late they managed to set up a table for us outside - even though it was a Saturday night and the place was packed!
On to the food - the menu was so well planned and we had a hard time choosing. We were recommended the appetiser tasting platter, which was really enjoyable with flavours on point! On to the main course we had the saffron artichoke tagliatelle as well as the risotto with asparagus and chickpea tempeh. Both delicious and the pasta was really cooked to perfection!
Would also recommend the tiramisu for dessert, but the pistachio and white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry coulis was to die for!!
Worth every penny and if I could I’d go back every week for the rest of my life. When in Rome - Do yourself a favour and book a table here!

Probably the best vegan restaurant I have tried in Rome. Welcoming bistro with modern warm decor, dog friendly and very friendly and efficient staff. The food is amazing, love the rice balls, the fresh pasta and the vegan cheese platter. I still haven’t tried the mouth watering desserts because I enjoy so much the appetisers and entrées that I am always too fool!

Nativa is truly the best vegan restaurant ever! They have both Italian dishes (on their vegan version) and other more sophisticated, original and super interesting options. All the ingredients they use are organic and I swear everything is SO tasteful. They cook everything (including the vegan cheeses OMG) and the desserts are the best I’ve ever had. Honestly. The owner, Valerio, is so so nice and warm and makes you feel very welcome. Great staff, great food and super nice location. Even if it is not in the city center, is very close to Vaticano and super well connected (bus, metro and city train arrive to that area in about 10 minutes from the center) and it is located in front of a park so I really saw it as an oasis in crazy Rome: green, beautiful, calm. So worth the visit! Thanks, Nativa!
