Nataraj - Suginami-ku

If you want to have indian food and not worry about 'contamination'from meat juices... this is a good place to go to. Liked their spinach naan in particular

A local favorite of ours with plenty of delicious vegan options, including the nan! The Nataraj Special, Baigan Bhurta, and Saag Palak are among our favorites. Other Tokya locations: Shibuya, Ginza, and Minami Aoyama.

Great Indian vegetarian restaurant. Very vegan friendly- everything containing dairy is marked on the menu. Vegan naan is available. We were really happy to find a vegetarian place near where we are staying (in Musashi-sakai near Mitaka). English menu and all the staff who served us spoke English. There's a mixture of traditional vegetarian Indian dishes as well as some with mock meat which I hadn't had in Indian before- the soy meat with spinach was wonderful.

Fully vegetarian restaurant with good lunch deal - for roughly Y1000 you can get a buffet with 6 different vegetable curries, salad and as much nan as you want. There are choices of mild or spicy curries and chance is you will like at least 3 or 4 of them to go for seconds. There are both white and brown bread nans available and when I was there they were nice and fresh (warm).. Only thing to watch out for is not eating too much!
