Chicken in our curry :(

Was recommended this place by lots of people and upon finding the restaurant, it was super busy. We managed to get a seat without queuing outside. We ordered 2 tofu (vegan) Massaman Curries with brown rice. Sadly BOTH of curries arrived with very noticeable pieces of chicken in. We took them back and mentioned... they were very apologetic and replaced them both. We were still slightly sceptical 2nd time round (although we saw no chicken). It’s a shame that such a simple thing, that could be avoided, happened. Despite this, the curry was very yummy and reasonably priced.

Pros: Yummy food , Popular restaurant

Cons: Still quite meat heavy , Chicken in our curry! (Be careful)

Cheap but a little boring for vegans

We had a pretty good meal here. Thought the prices were very affordable. But not a ton of vegan options, and the dish I got was a bit bland.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Bland options, Long wait

Great authentic food

I asked for the Panang curry but with just potatoes in stead of chicken and they made it full with veggies and potatoes included! One of the best curries I had with a lovely service!

amazing curry

I am so glad this place is on happy cow!! After about 30 minutes of looking online and reading reviews my friend and i decided on this place. Even though its not a vegan only establishment it is such a wonderful spot. Great and friendly staff that are knowledgeable about vegan food options. Plenty of items to pick from and the portion size is more than enough. Best curry Ive had so far in Thailand. I plan on going back again a couple more times before i leave Pai!

Pros: excellent food with big portions, friendly staff, chill spot to gather with friends

Cons: serves meat

Best place for Dinner in PAI!! 5 stars

Would give 5 stars but the restaurant serves meat.

I didn't even realize this place was on HappyCow, we drove by, saw the menu and stopped to eat. It was amazing my girlfriend and I loved it and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to everyone! The staff was super friendly, they knew what vegan was, the food was delicious and good portions. The chef later asked us if the food was too spicy and it was great for us. They have lots of delicious and fresh thai dishes as well as fruit shakes and teas (try the lemongrass, it's real/fresh lemongrass).

We ended up eating there several times for dinner. So happy it's on HappyCow for everyone else to enjoy!

No wifi. Bathroom and sink in the back( sink is hidden in the corner outside). Love that the kitchen is right out front and you can watch them cook everything! Great prices and great location too

Pros: Vegan friendly, nice vibe + friendly staff, outdoor or indoor seating

Cons: no wifi (it's a good thing in my opinon!)

OUR FAVE IN PAI. Deserve 5 star (but can't give it due to happy cow policy)

Amaaaaazing food! Great vegetarian and vegan options too! Our favorite restaurant in Pai. And their Pad Thai is the best in whole Thailand (and I've had many Pad Thais in my 4 months in thailand!). Great curries and veggie Springrolls too! Very nice staff as well! Second night we came here, they remembered that my friend could not handle the spicy food the first night and told us they would not add chillies to his dish!
Almost all dishes can be made vegan, ask for the tofu option and without egg and fishsauce

Pros: Awesome food, Very nice staff, Almost all dishes can be made vegan

Cons: Little more pricey (but larger portions), Ask if want less spicy

Food cooked with love

This place isn't specifically vegan or vegetarian, but the Thai food it offers is so versatile and so freshly made, there's no problem requesting meat-free and dairy-free food.

There are also some vegan-friendly options already on the menu, such as tofu versions of the curries and soups. Tasty salads and amazing dairy-free coconut/fruit shakes are also wonderful to try.

There's a very long wait during their peak hours, but this is because everything is freshly made on site. We went here during a very quiet period, but to be frank, we'd have happily waited for the standard of food that arrived.

If you visit Pai, don't miss this little gem.

Pros: Vegan options available., Incredibly tasty food., Cheap and good value.

Cons: Very long waits during busy times.
