Great spot

They clearly label everything on the menu. It’s traditional Bosnia. food with great ambience. The vegan options are limited. If you’re not willing to have some dairy while traveling, your options are limited.

Overpriced and not as good

I had the flat beans without meat and a tomato soup. Overall it was very pricey and for that the taste was super bland. Also, I specified that I am vegan in the order and still got something non vegan (mashed potatoes with cheese) with my order, that I had to take off. I really did not enjoy it and felt bad that I had chosen this place.

Pros: The service is nice and speaks English

Cons: Food is bland, Not vegan, even though I asked for it

Overpriced

They have listed some vegan options in the menu, I had the stuffed peppers with potatoes inside which is labeled as a vegan dish
It came with sour cream
The service speaks English so u can inquire about the ingredients but I didn’t bother
It was 17,90 BAM and we got three tiny peppers which were bitter
I feel like the place is overpriced because it’s in a touristy area

Pros: English

Cons: Price, Taste , Portion

Terrible!

Don’t go there!!! I had okra without meat with bread and extra rice. Everything was bad (except from the bread). The okra was tasteless and somehow scratched my throat while swallowing. It is no nice place to sit either and overpriced. Might have been my worst restaurant experience ever :‘(

Pros: The bread…

Cons: Overpriced, Tasteless food, Dirty

A couple of vegan options

I had the okra and asked for it without meat (marked on the menu as vegan). The dish is huge and they bring you a lot of delicious bread. My friend had grilled peppers, they were also amazing. For whatever reason they are not marked as vegan but they are.

Pros: There are vegan options, Pay by card, Fairly kind service

Cons: Not super clear what is vegan, More expensive than average in Sarajevo

Not very exciting

I ordered the grilled mushrooms and it came on a plate of very bland hard rice with 6 mushrooms on top. No seasoning and a bit pricey for what was given.

Had the stuffed pepper which were a bit better but still nothing special.

Not for vegan people

If you are vegan you only will eat side dishes such as flat beans, green peas or mushrooms. They offer stuffed pepper but not always have it.

Poor try of Bosnian, not exciting even for vegetarians

I was excited first, disappointed at last.
Grilled vegetables, were so raw they were still growing on the plate. Probably low-sodium diet as everything was plain (and I season very little), moussaka (vegetarian version) without meat same price as normal, not moussaka but zucchini tossed and baked with sauce and egg… maybe different expectations from moussaka… and quite pricey considering Bosnian standards. You will do better going elsewhere

Nice to try Bosnian food

A couple of veganisable options on the menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Initially put two big scoops of sour cream on my plate but waitress just forgot to mention to kitchen. Easily resolved. I had peppers stuffed with potato.

Good tomato soup

I ate good tomato soup (for 5 KM, appr. 2.5€) which filled me up till dinner. Beside some side dishes, there are no other vegan dishes on the menu. Soup was served with traditional bread somun, but be cautious as some restaurants use milk in it or baked it on the same grill as meat.
If you're not hungry, get their tea or coffee. The ambient is very nice. The only thing that bothered me was restaurant across the street serving meat after meat..

Pros: cheap, amazing ambient

almost no choice!

Don't eat here. My lunch was a plate of peas with 4 small pieces of carrot. They don't have sweets. There are better places in Sarajevo!
