Afro-Portuguese chain restaurant serving mainly chicken and burgers, but menu includes labeled plant-based dishes including multiple starters/sides, wraps, pitas and burgers made with Peri-Plant strips. Note: Recipes may vary by location and some options like the Great Imitator are not vegan-friendly if ordered with the sauce as they contain shellac which Nandos cannot confirm is vegan friendly - check allergens as recipes may change and specify vegan when ordering. Great imitator chicken wrap - Edit
They offer a vegan chicken wrap called the Great imitator that was very tasty! You can make it very spicy! I ordered it with two sides: spicy rice and seasoned fries. All so good!

Although I usually don't go for big chains, I gave Nando's a try and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of vegan options and everything was delicious!

Um genau zu sein ist dieses Restaurant eher ein Fastfood Restaurant. Wir haben für 3 Leute über 70 Pfund gezahlt. 1x wrap (vegan), der sehr klein war mit pommes und 2 "Burger" mit Hänchen - nur Hänchen. Pluspunkte macht es, indem der Laden nach 21 Uhr noch die Küche geöffnet hat und die Getränke darf man sich beliebig selbst nachfüllen.

I had only previously been to Nando’s once, years ago, before I was vegan. I wasn’t sure what was on offer for vegans but the man taking our order was very helpful! I had the spiced chickpea burger, medium, with peri chips for takeaway. Both were wonderful. The chickpea was topped with pickled onions and hummus. I had mine without a bun and with takeaway they put all of my toppings in separate containers. Because of this I had extra extra hummus, pickled onions, and medium sauce. I put them all together and used them to dip my fries and it was like a second little meal. Super satisfied and surprised at how delicious it was from a chain restaurant.

They have plenty of vegan options, including vegan meats. I liked also a wide selection of spicy salsas. A bit fast food quality but definitvely recommendable.

Initial thought after looking at the restaurant was, wow.. the setup is very good and the restaurant interior is top class.
Read moreThere was waiting so had to wait in a queue but it cleared up in 15 to 20 min and then we were directed to our table. Now each table has a number and a QR code sticker on it so you need to have a QR Scanner app installed on your mobile and you need to scan the table QR code sticker. Once you scan that sticker it will redirect you to Nandos menu and now you can start adding the items to your virtual basket on the app. When done hit pay and once the payment is successful you will receive the order number for your table and the order details will go directly to the staff and in next 10 minutes you should have your ordered dishes. Experience was quite different, at start didn't feel that comfortable but then I got used to it and ordered 3 different orders in next 30 minutes.
Now coming to food, we enjoyed the Vegan food and below were the dishes which we had ordered
2 Houmous with PERi-PERi Drizzle
The Great Imitator Burger
Garlic Bread
Chips
NIX and KIX Cucumber Mint
They will ask you what Peri-Peri sauces you need and they have 4 to 5 options out of which you can select and they will get it for you (these are complimentary). The Peri-Peri sauce adds the extra taste and kick to the food.
The service was fantastic and they kept on checking if we were good and enjoying our food.
