Vietnamese Dinner near City Springs Theater

Before seeing shows at City Springs Theater, NAM Kitchen is a popular choice for dinner. The restaurant is conveniently located in the City Springs district and is walking distance from the theater. On even nights, parking is only $10 as a flat fee and good for both dinner and the show.

NAM Kitchen features a lengthy bar and wine list and that is a major draw. The menu has recently been shortened, but many options are still available off-menu - such as the tofu clay pot. On the menu, vegan options include appetizers such as the edamame and spring rolls or lemongrass tofu entree and various dinner salads with tofu & avocado proteins.

I ordered the spring rolls - which are Vietnamese-style wrapped rice paper - not fried. The avocado variety were very tasty. I also got a clay pot and specified non-chicken broth and that was great as well, but it is no longer listed on the menu.

Overall, the food is high quality at a comparable price point for the area. They are great about having you ready to see the show given you allow roughly an hour for dinner.

Pros: Location, Large Bar Selection, High Quality Ingredients

Cons: No Vegan Labeling, Many Off-Menu Items
