great street food - Edit

What a great little cafe for lovers of vegan food. Looked on the app to see what was nearby when I arrived in Sydney and this popped up. All vegan. I had a masala dosa, not as good as in India, but crispy with a good filling. A guy next to me had a thali that looked really good. Friendly staff.

Pros: good choice, nice food

Cons: not much space to sit

Yummy! - Edit

Really healthy and yummy stuff. Not the most delicious vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to, but still really good! Nice, friendly staff. I enjoyed everything except for the chocolate smoothie I got.

Seriously tasty food - Edit

This is a small place just on the fringe of the main pedestrian area in Bondi Junction. It looks pretty basic from the street, with only a few tables inside and a couple of tables outside.

Looks can be deceiving though because the food here was absolutely stunning. I had the marsala dosai wrap and my wife had the roasted vegetable dosai wrap. They are a generous size and both of them were off the charts tasty.

The balance of spices and flavours is absolutely perfect with super tasty sauces/relishes, all wrapped up in a crispy dosai. Amazing.

We are both vegan so are always on the hunt for great new vegan places to eat and I am so happy that we gave this one a try. I can't wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the options on the menu. They also have a vegan ice cream shop on Bondi beach front.

A good standby in this area - Edit

Nalini's would not be my first choice for a meal. The wraps don't have structural integrity and always fall apart - be warned ! At nearly $14 for a smallish wrap it's also quite expensive compared with other places. The taster platter while "tasty" never seems to leave me satisfied. However, it's all very healthy and the staff are friendly and for an evening meal there's not much else to choose from in the area.

Pros: Healthy

Cons: Doesn't satisfy

Yummy South Indian food with a twist - Edit

This place is a great vegetarian addition in Bondi Junction. I went with a South Indian and she was impressed by the traditional dishes on the menu. The twist is the addition of fermented foods as well as their take on the traditional masala dosa:- The pancake is made into a wrap and generously filled with desired ingredients. The hot drinks and ice-cream are lovely too.

delicious South Indian with a twist - Edit

The place was pretty packed at lunchtime on a Friday, but they pulled out extra chairs and squeezed us in so we could sit and enjoy the meal.

Had a lovely dosa and spiced tea, with the added novelty that everything was available dairy free! Good value for money and friendly staff.

the wraps are fantastic - Edit

Was needing a quick take out and heard this place was good. I had the masala wrap which was excellent, the right amount of texture and flavour made it fabulous. My friend had the roasted wrap and nothing but praise. The atmosphere is also quite lovely with the decor and choice of music. Would come here again.
