Dishonest/Uninformed about meat in vegetable options.

Pan Asian food restaurants are usually a safe bet when we're traveling. We went to this one with a group.

We ordered a bunch of steamed vegetable pot stickers that we were assured contained no meat and upon first bite discovered what appeared to be diced pork or dark meat chicken. When we asked if they had any actually veggie only ones they tried to gaslight me into believing it was "all veggies". I have a degree in culinary arts and over a decade of culinary experience pre-veganism so I wasn't amused at them insisting it was a veggie. I asked what it was then and they just kept saying idk it's a veggie blend but that they don't make them onsite, at one point saying maybe the meat shaped and textured bits could be beans 🤦‍♂️. They kept insisting it wasn't meat and that other vegetarians and vegans loved them. I simply left it at ok but I wasn't going to eat them, eventually they took it off my bill.

On top of this they were incredibly slow and innattentive. We waited ~15-20 minutes to get our cards back after giving them to her to pay.

Pros: Spicy Tofu dish was good. Hopefully vegan...

Cons: Untrustworthy/Uninformed staff Re: Vegan items., Items labeled as vegetable contained meat., Service was very slow.

High hopes, disappointing experience

We found this restaurant through Happy Cow and felt confident that the restaurant could accommodate our plant based diets and the omnivores we were dining with. I suspect that our server's apathy was mostly to blame, but the experience was lack-luster.

I checked in with our server from the start, lettting her know that we're vegan and asking for recommendations. She suggested the Bibimbap in the stone dish and a veggie sushi combo. We ordered both both and a vegan rendition of Pud Thai. The combo served up vegan-style was great. The pickled gourd is delicious. Both the Bibimbap and Pud Thai were placed in front of us with eggs perched on top. We sent them back to have them remade. When they came back we were famished, but the food was fairly bland. The omnivores concurred.

The restaurant offers a menu of truffles for dessert, so we inquired as to whether any were vegan. "I don't think so," said the server.

I don't think we'll return.

Pros: Sweet Ambience, Vegan nigiri, Sake

Cons: Apathetic server, Animal products in our plant based orders, No vegan desserts

Awesome Restaurant With Many Vegan Options

Came here while in Ft. Wayne for a sporting event. Originally worried about few veg restaurants in the area but was pleasantly surprised with Naked Tchopstix. The atmosphere was great and our server was very helpful. There were SO many vegan options. Ended up getting a Bento Box that the server helped me veganize. It was very large and had a little bit of everything. Tasted amazing and was very satisfying. My non-veg family was also extremely pleased with the food they ordered. Overall, extremely impressed and would come back anytime. Plus make sure to get the premium tea ~ it's amazing!

Pros: Great Food, Great Atmosphere , Amazing Tea
