Here you will find a cacophony of delightful vegan doughnut creations, colourful cake sensations and cupcake delights. Boy how Edinburgh has changed since my last visit in the late noughties. We had a sensational Biscoff doughnut to share with a couple of deliciously bright blue spirulina coconut lattes that wouldn’t look out of place at Will Wonka’s. Whilst not so obvious, there’s also an impressive savoury menu here too but the cabinet of sweet delights will immediately draw your attention on arrival which was ultimately the purpose of today’s visit.

This little gem offers so much more than amazing cupcakes, food and drinks. It is such a lovely bright, clean and welcoming place to take the weight off your feet with a seat in the elegant contemporary surroundings or for those on the go grab a slice, cup cake or doughnut to take away. I have not managed to try all the offerings yet but if carrot cake is your thing you will not be disappointed! I have been here on a good few occasions since it's opening with various friends and family and we have all had a great experience, tasty cakes, amazing array of hot drinks with a variety of plant based milks to chose from. If your feeling a little more hungry they have a newly launched extended breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.

Lovely decor, delicious food and friendly service - Edit
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch here, I had a toastie and he had the soup ( quite spicy) . Too full to have a cake so we took some home to enjoy later. Will definitely return.

Lunch for two - Edit
The place is always bustling when we visit although usually just take away the indulgent sweet treats but finally made time for lunch. Two cheese burgers(beyond meat) with home made charcoal buns, onion rings, chips and salad (see attached photo), one soft drink and a chai latte. It was very tasty and highly recommend, will be back for regular sweet treats and to try the rest of the menu! Always visited them at the vegan festivals, so happy for them and myself that I can seem more often.

A must visit! - Edit
Myself and my partner visited this quirky little bakery/eatery last week. We ate lunch and took a selection of their delicious cupcakes home. I had the cheese burger in the charcoal bun (absolutely amazing!) and my partner had the full Scottish which also looked amazing (I wasn’t allowed to try!).

Staff were really friendly and service was relatively quick despite the place being full and it was evident they’d had a busy day (the cakes had nearly all gone!) I’d of liked to have taken more cakes home with us but when we got there the majority of the flavours were all sold out - top tip! Make sure you go early to avoid disappointment!

I’ve been here a few times now and it really is such a gem. The cafe itself is beautiful and the staff are lovely. All of the cakes I’ve tried (probably 90% of them) have been incredible and the mac and cheese toastie is delicious. I understand the menu has recently been updated and can’t wait to try it!

An absolute must if you’re visiting Edinburgh! - Edit
This beautiful little bakery is a hidden gem we found in Edinburgh’s arty cobbled back streets. It’s sells the most decadent vegan cakes and serves up the best Plant Based dishes we found all stay! The decor is über photogenic and gives of such a chilled vibe. The owners and staff made us feel at home and we ended up visiting twice and taking away a stash of doughnuts for friends and family back home!

I was truly blown away. Really friendly staff, hidden away from the hustle of the city centre. The cakes were to die for. Not only aesthetically delightful and beautifully ‘instagramable’, but they were delicious. I would highly recommended this bakery for both vegans and non-vegans. I will definitely be returning.

this is primarily a cafe selling cakes/donuts and hot drinks, It does have a small hot food menu at the moment, the owner told us it would be expanding its offering soon.

We had doughnuts (pb&j and biscoff) , marshmallow fluff hot chocolate and a blue latte. The doughnuts were amazing! We went back the next day for more. We tried a Mac n cheese toast or which was very tasty. The shop is vibrant, inviting and the owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a small business with a great ethos. We will definitely be regulars:)
