This place is absolutely beautiful, so welcoming and friendly and the cupcakes / cakes are amazing. We tried their hot drinks and also a milkshake. My partner had the toast and I had the pink waffles and they were both so amazing. Really fantastic food :)

My wife had seen this place on Instagram, and said we had to go! I had the waffles with chicken and bacon (This range) and she had the mac and cheese burrito. The food looks great, and tastes good too!
Read moreWe also got for cupcakes to take away, they were £3 each so £12 for four, quite expensive! They looked amazing, but they taste like standard cupcakes, I did expect them to be wow, so that disappointed a bit.
The service was ok, seemed a bit forced at times and the girl behind the counter kept disappearing so kept other waiting a while on a few occasions. The food arrived quickly.

Third visit to naked and really struggling with it. Another poor customer service experience where you are hanging around for five minutes at the counter while one member of staff serves and the other is doing a display. Sometimes you feel like it’s avoid eye contact at all costs.
Read moreHad a Scottish breakfast and it wasn’t warm enough. Tomatoes , beans and toast were cold. Supermarket bacon and Lorne is not why I come out for lunch. Lunch was ready in less than ten after ordering, they need to take more time to get it right.
Really want to like this place but I struggle each time I visit.

The full Scottish breakfast was really nice. Lots of items and good size portion to keep us going all day. No room for cake though they all looked amazing! Recommend booking as not a lot of tables.

Id go here every week if I lived in Edinburgh. The portion sizes are great and it's really good value. The cooked breakfast is everything you want, most places don't include bacon but Naked does. We got doughnuts and Croissants to take away and the Croissants are the best Ive ever had.

The Naked Bakery is Roth seeking out. It’s in a lovely quieter quarter, it well set up and provides a quiet, peaceful place for lunch or just a snack. Some great savoury options include toastier and burritos. A good number of regulars here providing a loyal base for an establishment deserving of maximum support.

A beautiful hidden vegan gem. Delicious food and excellent service. I had the beyond meat signature burger which was amazing along with white chocolate caramel cake and a selection of macarons. Would be nice to see some whole food/healthier options. Otherwise, amazing.

We actually ordered a few boxes of goodies for our wedding day. They went out of their way to deliver them to our hotel and made them on their day off and they were delicious. And best of all, they didn’t increase their prices tenfold just because we mentioned the word wedding! Thanks so much for making our special day just that wee bit more special!

Yes! We’ve found an awesome vegan bakery in the middle of Edinburgh! Super friendly staff, lots of choices and good and decent meals. Was surprised of the fluffyness of the waffles. Really loved it here. Would definitely recommend.

I love giving vegan cafes 5 stars, especially when they choose to specialise, but I’m not impressed with this one. I’ve visited a few times, and each time there was some issues. One of the times we walked in 20min before the closing time and it was clear that we really inconvenienced the people that were tidying to close up. So much so, that I had to ask if it’s ok to come in and have a cup cake to go... The other time I specifically travelled to buy macaroons (as often advertised on their social media and even here as a main pic), but when I got there, I was told that they don’t have it and they won’t be making any until Christmas as it is too’ time consuming’. Right... The rest of the experiences were kind of ok, and I really love the look of their cakes, but they really don’t taste of much other than sugar. I mean they’re nice, but not very flavoursome. Nonetheless, I will come back, still happy to support local vegan business over any other non-vegan bakery.
