I was really looking forward to eating here based on the reviews on happy Cow . Guess I should have checked reviews on other platforms. I ordered Mac and cheese, which was the worst I'd ever tasted. When I was asked if I enjoyed my meal (quite obviously I hadn't as I had hardly touched it) I said it was tasteless. His response was 'its plant based '. My response was yes it is and thirty years eating vegan food I think that this was probably some of the worst I'd ever eaten. I was offered a drink to make up for it, but what has annoyed me more was that I had to fork out more money at another place cause I was starving. I won't be back.

As for the comment about “reading reviews elsewhere” I take great offence to this. We have above the board outstanding reviews over several platforms, so if you’d actually checked anywhere else you would have had the same results as you had found here on HappyCow.
My employee offered you cake and coffee as compensation and you took us up on the offer of a coffee only, if you wanted a refund or a replacement dish all you had to do was to ask, it’s clear you have no problem voicing your opinion as you’ve posted it in several places now.

This place is amazing. So beautiful and the food is delicious. We had the Rose Moon Waffle with added bacon and the Sourdough Toastie. The Biscoff Milkshake is I think the best milkshake I've had. They sell so many beautiful cupcakes, it's so hard to choose.

This is a nice little cafe in a scenic part of the city. The decor is very chic and includes hundreds of artificial roses on the walls, pretty unique in my experience. I had the Piri Piri Chicken burger and it was really really good, possibly the best burger I've ever had, though the beetroot bun did get a bit soggy and had a slight tendency to disintegrate. But no matter, the taste was sensational. I'll go back.

The food was presented beautifully, almost feels a shame to eat it! We had the BLT, pink moon waffle with scrambled tofu and grabbed some macarons to go. All very tasty and our visit was made even better by the friendly staff.

Visited the bakery and had the waffles which were lovely, friend had the macaroni cheese burrito which tasted nice as I had to steal a bit. Table beside me had the vegan breakfast and that also looked good. Will be back to try more - shame it’s not local for me!

So excited to visit a vegan bakery (bonus points for gluten free options). The cupcakes were delicious, especially the Nutella brownie. Staff were really lovely! Gorgeous flowers inside and outside the bakery too. I hope to go back for brunch/lunch soon.

Read moreI eventually went for pink waffles that are made with beetroot and truly pink, served with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, whipped vegan cream and maple syrup. Nice!
I did order two cupcakes for my kids to take away and they were colourful, fun and really tasty.

Wish we were in town for a little longer because we'd definitely go again, I'd definitely want to try the pink waffles which were very asethtically pleasing. The shop itself is SO cute, tucked away off a main road of the city. I highly recommend trying the Unicorn tea. We got the full Scottish breakfast which had great flavors. You also NEED to try the cake if you go, the carrot cake was amazing but the White Caramel Blondie stole the show!

Really lovely bakery that sells breakfast and lunch items. Very colourful and nice vibe. The beetroot hummus and avocado on toast was excellent. The cake is amazing and I’d highly recommend the white chocolate cake. There are a wide variety of drinks including hot chocolate and teas. Will definitely be returning.

Popped in here for brunch on our last day in Edinburgh...glad we did! Definitely advise booking, we didn't but were lucky enough to get a table. Lots of bookings came in while we were there and lots of people had to be satisfied with takeaway as they couldn't be accommodated.

Staff were friendly and clearly helpful and I found it quite pleasing that they seemed genuinely proud of the delicious food and drinks they prepared and served.
We visited with a 4 year old and 11 year old and both of them were easily catered for. Pink waffles with bacon, chicken and a maple glaze for the 4 year old and a cheese toastie for the 11 year old. Both were amazing (yes, of course I had to sample them!) And both were presented like a piece of art!
My husband and I both had the full Scottish breakfast and once again as we were eating we couldn't help wondering why anyone would opt for non-vegan when this type of food is available!
Honestly this was some of the finest brunch/breakfadt/lunch food any of us have eaten. We're so glad we found this hidden gem.

I went here for lunch and had their BLT. It looked delicate with the nice colours and tasted even better than it looked! The this isn't bacon was so nice in texture, it had that crispy outside while the inside was tender. They had lots of cakes and cupcakes with different creative designs that I didn't try this time. The place was relatively big compared to other cafés in the area, and the interior was nice.
