Delicious food and warm-hearted staff. Too bad about the smoking. - Edit
English below 👇 川崎にあるインディアンレストランの『NAINA(ネイナ)』に行ってきました。
Read more繁華街のビルの二階にあり、店内は広々としていました。
今回は1450円のヴィーガンプレートを注文しました。ナンは乳製品を使っているので、代わりにチャパティにしてもらいました。
サラダは残念ながらドレッシングが無く味気なかったですが、二種類のカレーは豆カレー、野菜カレーでどちらも美味しかったです。サモサはスパイスが効いていて結構辛かったですが、サフランライスとの相性がとても良く、美味しかったです。
清潔感のある店内で居心地がとても良かったです。
スタッフも外国人の方でしたが、フレンドリーで写真撮影にも快く協力してくれました。
喫煙は全席可能だそうですが、店内がタバコ臭い事はありませんでした。気になる方は避けた方がいいかも知れません。
川崎にお越しの際は良かったら行ってみてください。
After a successful animal rights action, we visited Naina for dinner. Immediately upon entering, we received a hearty welcome from the staff. They’re well aware of what vegans do and don’t eat, and prepared us all a vegan version of their Vegetable Set (1450 yen). It came with two curries (vegetable and dahl), roti, salad, rice, and a homemade samosa. It was so much food I actually couldn’t finish it all, but everything was delicious. I especially liked the vegetable curry. It was slightly sweet, with a variety of spices and veggies.
I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was great, the atmosphere was really nice and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I have to take points off for the fact that they allow smoking, though. Luckily no one was smoking while we were there, and the place didn’t smell like smoke, but normally we don’t patronize smoking establishments. 😷 If it weren’t for that, I would wholeheartedly recommend Naina.
Pros: Fantastic food at a reasonable price, Staff are so kind and accomodating, Nice atmosphere with Indian BGM
Cons: Smoking-- that's a dealbreaker for us
