Serves Taiwanese and Hakka cuisine. Has a dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu (as well as a vegetarian sign outside). Look for the yellow sign that says 素 (vegetarian). Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-7:00pm.

Top notch Hakka food! - Edit
I was delighted to see the 素 sign outside as we were starving and there wasn't another HC listing anywhere near by. They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu and egg dishes are clearly marked. I'm not sure of the English ability/English menu availability as I was with my Taiwanese husband and we both spoke to the staff in Chinese. If you can speak a bit of Chinese you'll be fine. Highly recommended if you're visiting the old street!
