Awesome to have a bunch of different vegan options you won't say elsewhere in Adelaide. South American influenced menu. Great spot for breakfast. Have also ordered a birthday cake from here before and it was amazing.

Read moreEdit: I used to go every weekend, I absolutely loved the simplicity of the comfort food like dishes. Since it has new owner(s), the menu has completely changed. It's now a mix of 'health food' and Mexican stuff, and the prices have gone up heaps. Really miss the old Nagev!

Second edit for new owners. Very impressed, Mexican/Spanish/Latina inspired with also the regulars you’d expect. The ‘Arepa corn pockets’ were elite.

Edit - have changed to 4 stars, the dessert game has been upped and their overall food is on the improve. Semi regular customer now. Go here.

Just had an amazing birthday cake ordered from Nagev: chocolate mud cake with salted caramel icing. Rich, moist, beatifully iced - really one of the best vegan cakes I've ever had and I've been eating vegan cake for a LONG time. Never been to Nagev before and only called in to pick up the cake but i will be back!

Nagev is grouse because it's all vegan, and the cauliflower wings are incredible, the burgers however leave much to be desired. The Cheeseburger paddies are massive and have there isn't much flavour, mushy inside and burnt to a crisp outside.

Definitely recommend coming here. It's a simple cafe with a light menu but everything is done so well. We've been loads of times will in adelaide. Recommend the brunch and the coffee (serves bonsoy)

not sure if i was just really unlucky but went here for breakfast and the staff said they didn't have anything on the menu available... only the few cakes they had in the case. they looked good but i really wanted one of the interesting meals i'd seen photos of online! ended up leaving without ordering anything and was pretty disappointed.

I’ve been meaning to come here for awhile and was finally in the area. Slightly underwhelmed by the spare decor and less impressed that I was there at 12:05pm and they had sold out of nearly all pies, all salads and all croissants. Either an unusually busy day or poor planning by the staff. I ended up having the last lentil pie, nice flakey crust but very dry and crumbly all around. Tasty though. Sweet potato chips were spot on and banana milkshake tasted like banana syrup and very sweet. Looks like a lot of potential and maybe I just hit the wrong day.
