Basic but decent

Quite local experience. Owner is very welcoming and offered vegan alternatives including coconut milk in the lassi/shakes. I had the Indian Thali, which was quite big, and had a diverse range of dishes, along with a papadum, chapati, and sweet. Very enjoyable!

great food cooked by a friendly family

One of the best places I’ve eaten in my Sri Lankan travels so far! Well priced with a variety of different southern Indian food. They understand what vegan is and will even adapt foods and drink to suit your needs (such as a banana shake with coconut milk instead of cows milk which is damn delicious). The family is really friendly, take pride in their food and make you feel welcomed. They will answer any questions or queries you may have about the food
I recommend the lemon rice, pumpkin bujee and dosas!
Definitely recommend

Pros: great food at a great price, lovely family, understand veganism

Great place for the spiritual traveler!

A very lovely Indian family who will take care of all your wishes. Special requests welcome!
The mother makes sure you got everything you need and even brought us some tasty sweets between the meals.
They are Hare Krishnas and there is a wide selection of books to pick up, like the bagavata gita and the like.
After dinner we had a very nice discussion about the hindu belief system and what onions, garlic and chilli does to your doshas.
Then they called us their trusted tuk-tuk driver and we were on our way.
Highly recommended!
