Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant that offers marked vegan options, such as chana masala, samosa and pakoras. Open Mon-Wed 5:00pm-10:30pm, Thu-Sun 11:00am-10:30pm.
I've been here once and had the jeera rice, chana masala, and mixed vegetables. Good solid dishes but nothing special. Surprisingly few vegetable dishes for an Indian restaurant. Standards you would expect not there such as aloo gobi and bhindi. No decor to speak of if you're eating in. A large empty space.
To be fair, I must admit that I've only ever ordered the chana masala. It's so good that I cannot bring myself to try anything else. Get it with some rice and/or some naan and perfection. (But either come hungry or be prepared to leave with leftovers because I find that with rice, it ends up being at least two meals.)
I am a coward in terms of spice and if you are similarly spice-sensitive, be warned: the mild is spicy. If you're not vegan, get some raita with it to help your taste buds.
The restaurant itself is a little weirdly designed as you have to go next door (through another restaurant) to get to the bathroom. It takes a fair bit of time for the food to be ready, so don't order in a rush.
