Nice Little Spot - Edit
Not a vegan restaurant but has a few nice vegan options that are tasty. The portion sizes are good and it tastes a lot healthier than most restaurants. When you order tea they automatically bring you honey so maybe ask for that not to be included.

Good food, nice place, but lack of vegan knowledge from staff - Edit
We enjoyed the food at the Mystery Tea House, and even bought some tea to take away, which tastes great, but the staff seemed to lack basic knowledge about veganism, which is always a concern.
Read moreWe made it clear we were both vegan, and ordered clearly listed vegan food from the menu, but the staff still brought us real honey and dairy-butter to our table.
Pros: Several vegan choices, Pretty place, Welcoming atmosphere
Cons: Staff lack knowledge, Served non-vegan items

Great tea range and good salad - Edit
The teas served here are great and have tried a few salads. There aren’t a lot of vegan options.

Super friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. - Edit
Not the widest variety of vegan options but there’s always something. The vegan wrap is filling and makes me happy every time I order it.

Good and proper food - Edit
There is no mucking about with this place.
Read moreLarge variety of teas. I'll be honest, I know [censored] all about tea. The staff have been very helpful and accomodating as they've let me take notes on aromas and even sample some of it. Even asking for reccomendations won't do you wrong.
Now, personally the more important stuff. The food. It's hard to describe, I could say it's hearty and honest. But that's not enough to truly describe it. My personal favorite is the New Yorker; a seemingly innocent looking toasted ham and cheese sandwhich but so much more.
It's kept me coming back and it's a better afternoon spent than in a pub. No idea if I have a soul but I'd imagine that this place is good for it.
Pros: Lovely food, Great atmosphere and staff, Free wifi and plentiful plug sockets
Cons: I can only take so much joy

love this place!! - Edit
This is one of my favourite places to visit in Preston as it is one of the only places that does have vegan options and the atmosphere is so lovely. The staff that work here are always so welcoming and friendly when you arrive and are always happy to give you recommendations if you're struggling on what to have. My favourite to eat here is the vegan wrap that is so tasty and is creamy rather than tomato based which I find rare to find in vegan options, and it comes with a side salad and a pot of houmous! I would also highly recommend the cactus juice which is 100x more tastier than it sounds I promise as it's very sweet and refreshing. They do a huge selection of teas, I would also recommend the peach oolong which comes with lemon and a pot of honey (although not suitable for vegans it's lovely for veggies to sweeten the tea). another one of my favourite teas here would be the blooming teas that they have a few to select from, however i would only order this if you have lots of time as you have to wait for the flower to bloom but when it does it is so pretty to watch and it's very cleansing. The tea room itself has also got such a positive vibe as there is usually music playing in the background and there is artwork covering the walls that are all for sale.

Cons: sometimes you may have to wait awhile so maybe not, suitable if you haven't got a lot of time

Pleasant place - Edit
Decided to pop into the Mystery Teahouse whilst we were in Preston, friendly environment and very welcoming staff. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly, but predominately omni, very tasty vegan option I had, although there’s not much choice. At the time the only plant milk was soya, so more choice in food and milks options could be something to work on. They had a 4/5 star kitchen hygiene rating sticker on the window, which I’m sorry to say also reflected in the seating area too. Very pleasant experience however, and if they had more options in the future I wouldn’t be put off returning.
