love this place!! - Edit

This is one of my favourite places to visit in Preston as it is one of the only places that does have vegan options and the atmosphere is so lovely. The staff that work here are always so welcoming and friendly when you arrive and are always happy to give you recommendations if you're struggling on what to have. My favourite to eat here is the vegan wrap that is so tasty and is creamy rather than tomato based which I find rare to find in vegan options, and it comes with a side salad and a pot of houmous! I would also highly recommend the cactus juice which is 100x more tastier than it sounds I promise as it's very sweet and refreshing. They do a huge selection of teas, I would also recommend the peach oolong which comes with lemon and a pot of honey (although not suitable for vegans it's lovely for veggies to sweeten the tea). another one of my favourite teas here would be the blooming teas that they have a few to select from, however i would only order this if you have lots of time as you have to wait for the flower to bloom but when it does it is so pretty to watch and it's very cleansing. The tea room itself has also got such a positive vibe as there is usually music playing in the background and there is artwork covering the walls that are all for sale.

Pros: amazing food, positive atmosphere and friendly , staff

Cons: sometimes you may have to wait awhile so maybe not, suitable if you haven't got a lot of time

Pleasant place - Edit

Decided to pop into the Mystery Teahouse whilst we were in Preston, friendly environment and very welcoming staff. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly, but predominately omni, very tasty vegan option I had, although there’s not much choice. At the time the only plant milk was soya, so more choice in food and milks options could be something to work on. They had a 4/5 star kitchen hygiene rating sticker on the window, which I’m sorry to say also reflected in the seating area too. Very pleasant experience however, and if they had more options in the future I wouldn’t be put off returning.

Pros: Central location, Friendly staff

Cons: Limited menu, Not sparkling clean

Vegan options; nice vibe; great coffee. - Edit

The Tea House can be found at the bottom end of Cannon Street. There are, as the name suggests, dozens of choices of tea available, but I had black coffee today, which was excellent. I don't know if they have non-dairy milk.
Vegan options on the menu included 2 salads, (The avocado one looked amazing), a wrap, soups and the vegan kezelt - rich, tomatoey and with lots of chunky vegetables.
There were also 2 or 3 desserts, including a vegan muffin.
The tea house obviously has a returning clientele who were, along with newcomers, greeted warmly by the friendly, cheerful staff.
There was quite a long wait for my food but it was not a problem for me as I wasn't in a rush and very much enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the place, but it may be worth asking if you could pre-order if you were on a short lunch break from work?
A lovely place with tasty food, nice people and good music. Deserves a visit.

Pros: Tasty food with reasonably priced vegan options., Friendly staff., Relaxed vibe enhanced by good music.

Cons: Steep stairs down to the toilets., Service may be a little slow at lunch time.
