The worst “vegan” (falsely advertised as vegan) restaurant that I have ever been to. - Edit
This place is called My Vegan Soul, but it is not vegan. I assumed it was by the name, but when I was ordering, I almost ordered meat because I didn’t know that you have to specify that you want vegan ( I was told that when I mentioned that I was glad a vegan restaurant was in Sandusky). Also they were out of lots of vegan options. Aside from that, the two people working there made us feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable. The food was not good, the place is dirty, and just a strange vibe all around. So unfortunate.

They must be doing some magic in the kitchen because OH MY 😍 The food was out of this world! In addition, service was fast and staff was friendly. I will most definitely be back! I tried the Jackfruit tacos- which were divine. But the street corn was the star of the show!

Good food, though they do serve meat, despite the name. Everyone was nice but it could use some sprucing up and the bathrooms were a bit dirty. Going to more and smaller tables, doing table service, and serving food on plates instead of in takeout containers would go a long way to taking this place to the next level.

Small menu big flavor - Edit
While the menu is small, (mostly tacos and Mac n cheese) the food was very flavorful and portions were good. My only complaint was that the restaurant was visibly dirty. Behind the counter, the floors, and the bathroom needed some work. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Wife and I ordered jackfruit and vegan chicken tacos, while kids had the Mac bowls. Menu was small, but flavor was excellent. Loved the street corn. I prefer more fiber in my meals. I’m just not a fan of cheese or sour cream on everything. I’ll order tacos sans cheese next time and see what happens.

Food was interesting and tasty, but the vegan options are just various tacos and Mac and cheese bowls. Lots of vegan protein options and good vegan cheese.
Read moreMexican corn came with our tacos, but it wasn't clear on their menu or ordering system. We called and they said sides with vegan entrees are automatically vegan. Should be better marked though.
Pros: Good flavors., Not many food options in Sandusky.

Delicious vegan mac, great tacos, several vegan “meat” options, plenty of options for the meat-eaters, too. And the people working there were very sweet. A highlight of our time in Sandusky!
