Thank you for everything - Edit
This feels a bit like shouting into the void, as I bid farewell to my favourite restaurant what feels like forever ago, but I always felt as though too much went left unsaid when they closed their doors and welcomed a new chapter beyond that cute little house in Wakefield.

I would always try to make a weekly trip out there to try whatever incredible thing was on the menu that week. It didn't take very long to realize the nourishment I would get filled far more than just my stomach.
Sitting at an artfully mismatched table, I was hours from where I grew up, but to me I was home. I vividly remember diving into my first cheese plate (the first of SO many) and feeling the overwhelming urge to shed a little happy tear. Now, no cheese board is complete without pickled onions and smoked carrot lox, although my homemade attempts pale in comparison to Helen's.
The comfort this place gave me was something I think about regularly, and have yet to experience again, but I have high hopes that one day I will.
I just want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making food that made me feel something.

Outdoor lunch was delish on a hot summer’s day - Edit
Stopped in Wakefield on the way to camping to try this cute place in Wakefield with my daughter. Had the tofu panini and the burrito, and the mozzarella sticks. Also had a wonderful local elderberry kombucha and split a wonderful butter tart. Food was fresh and tasty. We will be back!

Fancy food, affordable and warm ambiance - Edit
The food is amazing, it is tasty and delicious, exactly what long time vegans have been looking for. Most of the stuff is made there and you can feel the freshness, The service is great as well.

My tiny cupboard is located in the cute village of wakefield. The restaurant has a cute homey feel to it. They specialize in nut base cheese, but also hold food themed nights, ex: pierogie night, Moroccan night, etc.. the food itself is amazing, so creative and the flavors on point. I would recommend this place to anyone. Food = 🤤

Delicious! - Edit
We had the table d'hote menu and it was absolutely delicious! We are vegetarian but don't eat dairy, so it was a treat to have such good vegan cheese. Each dish was fantastic and beautifully presented. The restaurant is charming and the staff friendly. I would recommend to friends (vegan or otherwise!).
