Vegan menu is nice but not a guarantee

We asked for and ordered from the vegan menu. But still we got egg in our pad thai. The server first said "it is vegan". So that was a bit annoying. I know egg when I see it and we both ate some. But after she saw it she took it away and apologized several times. I just wish we were believed to start with. The dish was remade but the taste/thought of egg still lingered so we didn't enjoy it. It wasn't my favourite way to make pad thai. It was very sour and the tofu absorbed too much of the sourness. It made the tofu taste off. I would not order the pad thai again but I might try a different tofu dish. The spring rolls were delish!

I love this place!

Often when I dine out with family and friends I recommend we go to My Thai Palace. I am really happy they have a location in North Bay too. The service is always friendly and helpful. Because they do serve non vegan options, and oyster sauce be sure to ask the very friendly staff to have your meal made vegan. They do have a special menu at both Sudbury locations that lists what can and cannot be made vegan. The coconut sticky rice is amazing. It is nice to know in Sudbury you have vegan options that are not hummus. I recommend the tamarind tofu if you want something sweet, and the basil tofu if you want something savory.

Pros: Amazing food, Friendly Staff, Multiple vegan options

Cons: Must order without fish sauce, Serves meat
