A restaurant located in China Town, Binondo Manila.
Chinese style vegetarian food comfort.
They sell lots of frozen foods from mock chicken to vegeham and sausage. They have take-out counter for Siopao and frozen Soyamilk.
Happy Veggie location is near Quan Yin Chay vegetarian restaurant. (same street - Masangkay)
One thing i can say... DELICIOUS FOOD!
I was impressed with the way their menu was presented to me. A photo album with the actual footage of the food is shown which is a nice way to guide first time customers to explore their menu. I ordered 2 dishes and the 1st one to arrive was Fried Tao Pao. It was crispy and the sauce was good, just the right sweetness. My 2nd order is Veggie Nuggets with lemon sauce. It was also good but I liked the Tao Pao more. It also comes with a free hot tea. The price is reasonable enough. They also serve foods that are usually fimiliar to a lot of people like pancit, spaghetti etc. but are done in a vegetarian way. Mock meat are sold for home cooking. Overall experience was good.
If you want a vegetarian-only Chinese café, then look no further than Happy Veggie Health Food. The food is delicious and healthy, prices are inexpensive, and the staff is super-friendly. Happy Veggie's extensive menu includes pictures of each dish so that you can see exactly what you're getting!

If you want a fully vegetarian Chinese cafe, then look no further than Happy Veggie Health Food. There is an extensive menu with pictures of each dish, so you can really see what you're getting! The price range is cheap, and the staff is super-friendly. They have many mock-meat dishes cooked in various soy sauces. Some are great, while others like the spinach soup, are tasteless. They also sell steamed vegetarian buns and a variety of packaged vegetarian foods imported from Taiwan.
I called in and looked at their extensive menu showing photos of most dishes, but opted for the cheaper restaurant in the same street (Quan Yin Chay where dishes are P50 each)rather than P130 on average here
