Delicious Vegetarian Chinese Food - Edit
A restaurant located in China Town, Binondo Manila.
Chinese style vegetarian food comfort.
They sell lots of frozen foods from mock chicken to vegeham and sausage. They have take-out counter for Siopao and frozen Soyamilk.
Happy Veggie location is near Quan Yin Chay vegetarian restaurant. (same street - Masangkay)
One thing i can say... DELICIOUS FOOD!
Pros: good food, good value, friendly staff

Nice Menu - Edit
I was impressed with the way their menu was presented to me. A photo album with the actual footage of the food is shown which is a nice way to guide first time customers to explore their menu. I ordered 2 dishes and the 1st one to arrive was Fried Tao Pao. It was crispy and the sauce was good, just the right sweetness. My 2nd order is Veggie Nuggets with lemon sauce. It was also good but I liked the Tao Pao more. It also comes with a free hot tea. The price is reasonable enough. They also serve foods that are usually fimiliar to a lot of people like pancit, spaghetti etc. but are done in a vegetarian way. Mock meat are sold for home cooking. Overall experience was good.
Pros: menu with actual footage, Good Variety, Healthy
Cons: Little improvement on the aircondition, Wait time takes quite a while.

Chinese food - Edit
If you want a fully vegetarian Chinese cafe, then look no further than Happy Veggie Health Food. There is an extensive menu with pictures of each dish, so you can really see what you're getting! The price range is cheap, and the staff is super-friendly. They have many mock-meat dishes cooked in various soy sauces. Some are great, while others like the spinach soup, are tasteless. They also sell steamed vegetarian buns and a variety of packaged vegetarian foods imported from Taiwan.
Pros: Cheap

My favorite vegetarian restaurant - Edit
Happy Veggie offers a wide array of dishes, from rice dishes and noodles to sizzling plates and casseroles. It also serves different sandwiches, pasta and soup. Whether it's a simple lunch for one or an elaborate meal for the whole family, you are bound to find what you are looking for in Happy Veggie. My personal favorite is mushroom with sesame seeds. Food is freshly cooked (they cook after you order) and hardly uses MSG. I highly recommend it to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
They also sell vegetarian mock meats, organic cereal and all types of vegetarian seasoning.
Pros: delicious, food is fresh all the time, inexpensive, plenty of choices

Green Monster 10 Jun 2010 - I did not like the mushroom with sesame at all. It was coated in some rubbery batter and tasted very rubbery.

Looks OK, but not cheap - Edit
I called in and looked at their extensive menu showing photos of most dishes, but opted for the cheaper restaurant in the same street (Quan Yin Chay where dishes are P50 each)rather than P130 on average here
Pros: clean, large menu, friendly
Cons: expensive

tacchua 22 Feb 2013 - Don't judge a book by its cover, and don't judge a menu by its price. The servings in this restaurant - Happy Veggie, are very big and a 130 peso dish is big enough for two to three people. In fact, 100 pesos per person is enough for a very satisfying meal. There are rice dishes, noodles and pasta dishes that are all under 100 pesos. Plus, food here is freshly cooked all the time.
