Good vegan Banh Mi near main sights! - Edit
We stumbled upon this place as it is right next to the Post Office and Notre Dame.
Read moreServe vegan tofu Banh Mi with teriyaki sauce. From reading other reviews this is the only vegan sauce option but maybe ask?
It was really good! Delicious sauce and plenty of filling. Pricey for a Banh Mi but what you expect right in the centre of all the tourist attractions.
Ideal if you are walking around that area!
Pros: Great flavour, Lots of sauce, Location
Cons: Expensive for a Banh Mi

Delicious but expensive - Edit
Had a really great tofu banh mi here. Delicious crispy baguette filled very generously with tofu, teriyaki sauce and cucumber. Also had an iced black coffee. The price is quite expensive but considering they are a restaurant in the centre of HCMC it’s not so bad. The food is delicious, fresh and really hit the spot. Furthermore, they don’t use plastic straws, and provide straws made from rice instead.

Cons: On the more expensive side

Nice place! They have a tofu noodle dish as well as the sandwich. The sandwich was really good I would come back and have it again.

Not bad... - Edit
As most comments state: it's pricey but that's something for the categorization, not for the review itself.
Read moreThe banh mi with mirin teriyaki sauce was quite good but certainly not awesome. Unfortunately, there aren't many verified vegan banh mi around, so this needs to be the recommendation?

Excellent vegan Banh Mi - Edit
We did walk past it a few times before we saw it but that might just have been us! Small place but nice and peaceful with air con. As others have said it is expensive but for us a good chance to try a vegetarian and vegan banh mi. They do meat options and other foods on the menu too. We enjoyed the cool of the air conditioning and cold drinks so didn’t mind the extra cost.

Banh mi was delicious! - Edit
I’ve never had it before so I can’t compare to others but I really enjoyed it. The place is really nice and the staff are friendly and speak English. Would definitely go back and have another one!

Ok tofu sandwich, rather than banh mi - Edit
Quite pricey, and not as delicately put together as other banh mi. The balance is a bit out with huge chunks of tofu and the flavours of the greens, chilli and sauces. Ask about which sauces might have dairy or whether they use mayonnaise.
Read morePros: Decent veg sandwich
Cons: Expensive, Big chunks of tofu, less greens/ pickles/ chilli , A little out of balance with banh mi flavours

Lost a star because of the price. But would recommend for flavour, speed and convenience. The filling was quite generous too.

Amazing tofu banh mi - Edit
Although it’s pricey for a banh mi, it’s the best one I had yet ! They have different sauce, I took twice the spicy garlic because it’s delicious. Definitely recommend if you don’t mind the price !

Ridiculous price for a banh mi! - Edit
Yes, this is not a street food place BUT...a good banh mi can be found on a street for 20k. An expensive banh mi on a street would be 35k. This restaurant charges 110-120k for a banh mi. There is no need for this. The price symbol on Happy Cow should be at least $$ not $

I haven’t found many good vegan Bahn mi’s in Vietnam (we’ve been across the whole country) but this place has a couple of awesome vegan options (the tofu Bahn mi and tofu rice noodles). Recommend for those visiting Saigon and just want something easy.

Avoid - Edit
They serve a nice hot tofu sandwich here, but to call the vegetarian one a banh mi is a disservice to Vietnamese food - there was almost nothing about either one we ordered that had anything Vietnamese to it, or if there was it was hidden beneath the sauces. No pickles, no herbs, no chilli, nothing to make it special.

Cons: Expensive, Westernised

Like most other reviews, the food was great but expensive. We liked it but probably won’t be back. Vegan tofu sandwich was good, the salad had too much dressing but the flavour was good.

Best Banh Mi so far - Edit
The vegan tofu Banh Mi was delicious and the service here was great. It’s a little pricey compared to what you can get from a street vendor but it’s worth it and you get a choice of sauces. They will also tell you which sauce contains fish sauce so you can avoid it.

El banh Mi vegan estaba delicioso!!! - Edit
Costará unos 90k pero vale la pena esa salsa de Chile con ajo es la gloria, luego pedí un té helado natural y combino perfecto, también venden comida no vegetariana o vegan a por si vienen con alguien que quiera probar cosas locales, el local es guapo además.

Restaurant seemed like an American diner, and a tourist trap. We just went in because we were starving but the food was actually good. It wasn’t an authentic Vietnamese experience but we had a delicious meal. It is pricey but good service.
