Museum restaurant with vegan options - Edit
The large restaurant on the second floor of the museum has several vegan options on the menu, which I didn't expect to find: Snacks, salads, desserts. More on expensive side, but considering it's your only option if staying at the museum for several hours and you need a snack, I would have expected prices to be even more inflated. Food quality was decent, but not great. Great Acropolis views on the terrace though!

Good food and nice embiance - Edit
Three good plant based menu items (they change them), attentive service, and a spectacular view of the Parthenon.
Read moreNo problem getting a table in October.
You need to get a “zero ticket” that allows access to only the restaurant on the second floor. You can get one at the last minute after the ticket lines have calmed down. Use the elevator to the left of the entry gates. The restaurant is in back past the snack and brunch dinning area. The restaurant is only open on Friday and Saturday.
The snack and brunch dinning area is open every day and has a few vegan items (two cheers for the lentil salad), but you must have an individual ticket to get back in to the museum. A group ticket does not count, though we pleaded our case, showed some pictures we took, and was let back in.
Pros: Spectacular view of the Parthenon , Nice embiance, Attentive service
Cons: Finding the right path to the restaurant was not

Lovely spot inside the museum, but limited vegan options - Edit
I really appreciated the convenience of this restaurant being located inside the museum — it’s great not having to exit and re-enter or queue up again. It makes for a smooth and relaxing visit.
Read moreThe atmosphere is pleasant and the service was friendly. However, as someone looking for vegan options, I found the menu quite limited in that regard. One dish was even labeled vegan but included honey, which isn’t considered vegan by most standards — something to be aware of.
Prices are on the higher side, especially for Greece, but it’s understandable given the location and the overall experience. If you’re enjoying a day at the museum, it’s definitely a nice place to take a break.
Pros: View, Inside the museum, Friendly
Cons: Limited choice, Not all labeled vegan is vegan

Ok but limited - Edit
The chocolate cake was delicious and very filling. There were no other vegan options on the menu, but I did not ask for savory dishes.

Nice food with an amazing view - Edit
There are two cafes in the museum, one on the ground floor and one further up stairs. The one upstairs has a wider selection and a much better view - but downstairs is still good! I had a gorgeous grilled vegetable sandwich and an americano as fuel before wandering around this incredible museum. I would have preferred more choices to eat, but it was tasty!

Nice grilled vegetable baguette - Edit
Wish I had realised there was a bigger, better cafe upstairs. Went to downstairs and enjoyed the grilled vegetable baguette.
