Serves meat, vegan options available. Scottish tea room in the tiny remote village of Southend. Vegan dishes are not marked on the menu but most dishes are made fresh to order and the owner and chef are very happy to accommodate vegans. Could include pasta dishes, soups, chips, salads and sandwiches. Often vegan cakes are available as well, depending on the day. Open Mon-Sat 09:00-17:00, Sun 10:00-17:00.

Amazing tea room, lovely owners - Edit
Southend is a fairly remote and sleepy place, so it's amazing to see that the local tea room caters so well for vegans. Make sure to talk to the owner (and chef) who is more than happy to talk you through your options of vegan dishes she can prepare for you on that day.
Read moreThe tea room is very cosy and feels like it hasn't changed in 30 years. Go here for some nice food in a warm atmosphere, and some lovely vegan cake afterwards!
