I've been a customer prior to the current brick & mortar location. There's currently two menu options one vegetarian and one vegan. If you call or order in person, they can do any number of substitutions. I think in fact, I am partially responsible for the veg chopped cheese as I would special order that all the time and now it's a standard menu item. I would recommend always ordering directly vs food delivery apps if you require any customization or substitutions.

Can’t give 5 stars as this is not a fully vegan place. Drew has been around New Haven a long time. His vegan sandwich is delicious and this little space is perfect. He will happily accommodate you coming in for a vegan meal. Happy to have him here and wish him luck in this spot. Definitely check it out

Apparently Happy Cow caps restaurants at 4 stars if they are not strictly vegan. I would definitely recommend Munchies to vegans as Drew is willing to accommodate vegans with more than just his staple vegan sub (The Woke AF). He has been able to substitute seitan on other subs and make other modifications to make them vegan. Definitely check this spot out!
