Good and cheaper than Reinhaus - Edit
Beyond and Field Roast sausage options on good local bread, and you can load them up with sauerkraut. Really the only downside is that you have to pay for your food in one place and then go and order and pay for your beer in another. Seating is outside, which is nice, but it’s very smoky from the cooking.

Menu has ingredients list of all their condiments. There are several options for vegans. Feels like you get the Leavenworth experience but vegan. We tried 4 different mustard and sauerkraut. Very good worth a visit?

Bavarian grill and beer garden. Vegan options - sausages, chili, pretzels. LOTS of mustard flavors to choose from, and the sauerkraut is very good. If getting the pretzel, ask for no cheese or butter.
Read moreWent twice during our trip to Leavenworth. Really yummy. Liked the dill mustard and the onion/garlic mustard. All seating is outside, with umbrella coverings. Additional seating on the balcony. Good for large groups. They also have live music during the busy days of the week.

They had more than one vegan option! The chili was delicious, and the sourkraut is a must! Great atmosphere and a nice spot to sit down for a quick, filling meal. Note: they likely use the same tool and grill for the vegan sausages so if you're hard-core vegan, you may just want to skip the sausage and get chilli w/ sourkraut.

Read more- pretzel made vegan - very good 8.4/10, had to remove all the butter and cheese and we still got charged $8. Would be nice to see a cheaper vegan version on the menu or a version with vegan butter and cheese.
They had a detailed menu of ingredients for the condiments, but would have been nice to just have them labeled vegan or not on everything themselves.

Our favorite place to visit here for the beyond bratwurst. Their website now has ingredients for EVERYTHING which is a huge plus. Absolutely worth a visit (or 3).

Well labeled menu with nice outdoor seating and lots of mustard options. The beyond sausage with caramelized onions and apple cider sourkraut was filling and delicious. The chili was a pass for me, not a fan of the flavor or texture (deep brown instead of red, very bean forward). The pretzel was solid even without butter and they give you the salt on the side which works well when dipped in mustard.

As others have noted, there are many different mustards to choose from to zhusz up you vegan brat. Lines tend to get very long for this spot but if you can nab a table, it’s a great social atmosphere to hang out and eat some good vegan German food!

The beyond brats were good, especially with the caramelized onions. The bread was huge and fresh and squishy. The vegan chili was meh. Everything was pretty expensive - to be expected in a tourist town.

I got the field roast sausage and the baked pretzel (and beer of course!) The sausage was pretty good, I paid a little extra for the sautéed onions on top, which was a good choice. I don’t usually eat a lot of meat alternatives, but this sausage was pretty good, (I believe it’s apple and sage) and then with the onions and the mustard on top, made it better!

I had the field roast and an Amber beer, and shared a pretzel. Indicate vegan for the sausage and pretzel. Everything was delicious and we found a table in the shade upstairs under some lovely misters. The warmed-up sauerkraut was super yummy and they have a huge selection of mustards.

We were only in town for a few days, but after eating here for lunch, we had to return the next day for lunch here again and even stopped by once more before heading out of town to get some food to take home with us! The veggiewurst in particular was absolutely delicious!

The best veg brats! - Edit
Been coming here for a very long time, well before I went vegan in 2014. Always a good meal! Surprised to see they added the Beyond Brat to their menu as they’ve been serving Field Roast for years. They also had a tasty vegan chili which we tried yesterday. So now they have 2 different veg brats and veg chili. Fantastic! Will continue to stop here if they keep serving these great options.

They serve a field roast sausage and a beyond sausage, at least a dozen different mustards to try, kraut, onions, relish and jalapeños! Delicious and loved I was able to experience Leavenworth with my meat eating family. 😋
