Favourite Indian Restaurant - Edit
Mumtaz is a family favourite and especially for me since there's a separate Vegetarian and Vegan section to the menu..

There's also a vegan cheesecake which was a great surprise but I've always been too full to try it!
Service is always great as well

Disappointing service - Edit
Having heard good things about this restaurant, I was pretty disappointment when visiting. The wait staff messed up several items of our order - firstly they brought over glasses of coke that hadn’t been ordered. When we said no one had ordered them, the waitress insisted that we had (we had ordered cobra and she had clearly misheard, but the insistence that we were wrong was incredibly rude). There were also some starters ordered that were brought with (and one after!) the mains. The waiters also mixed up two of the curries, giving the wrong ones to people.

Vegan options were clearly labelled which was fantastic to see, and there was a vegan dessert present on the menu which is rare and to be commended.
Worth noting that this restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, and, unlike most Indians who don’t serve alcohol, they also do not allow you to bring your own drinks.

Cons: Very poor service , Spice level is not varied , No alcohol allowed
