Mumbai Rail is more of a deli than a restaurant. The food is prepared and ready to serve. There are only a few menu options, but the vegan options are labeled. Your food comes with non-vegan naan. You can sample before committing to anything, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was pretty good, but the samosas were soggy with filling that just tasted like chunky mashed potato. You can't control the spiciness (it's fairly mild) because it's pre-prepared.
The description on here says upscale, but it wasn't. Not that it was dumpy, either--but it's not fancy. Just normal.
Pros: fast, cool location
Cons: deli-style with limited menu
