Nice interior, yummy dessert - Edit
Very nice interior with two floors, the first allowing you to bring your pets in. The menu has clearly labelled vegan options (breakfast oatmeal, two types of pasta, minestrone, smoothies) and lots of vegan desserts.

Great ambiance, delicious food! - Edit
Enjoyed a fabulous bowl and iced oat latte here. Very relaxing ambiance and super friendly staff! They also spoke fantastic English.
Read moreI agree with another reviewer that the long info menu bits etc. about “humane” meat served feels icky. Nonetheless, I’m glad to find good vegan food in Sendai.

Curious Option in Sendai - Edit
I got a pretty great meal here at Muku in Sendai. Love the quality of food offered, especially desserts which are a must. There’s few options in Sendai so I’ll take them as they come over the same chains.

I can’t help but be cynical with the ambience about concerns for animal welfare being the primary decor. I understand omnivores sometimes posture about caring for the lives of animals they eat, so it makes sense a business would try to work with it. Still just feels disingenuous over going vegan.
Pros: Rare pro-LGBTQ signage in toilet.
