My favorite spot from my last visit to London! This small Korean restaurant was an amazing find, with delicious food and very reasonable prices for London. I’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful food

Small, friendly restaurant with limited seating, but we arrived just as others were leaving. Plenty of options on the menu, and very quick service. The food was delicious! I had BibimBap Beef, partner Spicy Pork.

Great food, Good service, Great Price

Went here on the recommendation of others, did not disappoint. Ordered the vegan beef Bibimbap as well as some seaweed sheets and a drink. Portion sizes were good, food tasted delicious delicious was perfect for the hot day. Service was good, taking no more than 10 minutes to get food. Not too much seating, but was plenty of space for me (I went midweek at 17:30). Price was also quite good, with about £15 for the main and a little more for the sides and drink.

Delicious Korean food!

Fully vegan Korean restaurant with a big menu for such a small place.
I had a few small dishes and everything was amazing! Especially the sweet and spicy chicken bites.

Pros: Fully vegan, Range of menu

Fresh tasting and flavourful dishes

Most Korean restaurants seem to be BBQ places but this seems to be more homecooked meals. The vegetable pancake was tasty but mild, I will try the kimchi version next time or have more sides with it. The kimchi stew (might have been called something else) was gorgeous. Really spicy but flavourful (salty, sour, garlicky). It is easy to reach from Liverpool Street Station. Come out of the main entrance and turn left (where Eataly is). Keep going until you see Urban Greens to your right and that's where you turn into Worship Street (the road sign is covered up at the moment due to building works).

I can't agree with reviews that say the dishes are small, I was struggling to finish the starter and main. Friendly service. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu in future.

Lovely owner, lots of options

Worth a visit for the 🥟 and Korean Fried Chicken. A bit of tight squeeze. Hospitality is outstanding.
Also serves ramen, bibimpap

Kimchi pancake and goodbye Lenin

Ordered as delivery, so I cannot rate the ambience of the restaurant or how well the food was presented but..

The kimchi pancake is absolutely amazing, the fat roll.. I didnt really enjoy, it is what a sushi would be like if I had my given my soviet union granny a poor description of what sushi is and she would have used the "doctors sausage" instead because back then and there eating uncooked fish seemed insane. its not bad, I fully believe other people would very much enjoy it, just not for me. I did not expect fake fish, I just also did not expect this strange taste from when I was a child having sausage sandwhiches.

I might edit this review to a higher score when I visit the venue.

Pros: Great options, Decent prices, Bold flavours

The roll is not meant to be sushi, it's Korean gimbap, it comes with meat inside, never fish, has less rice and the rice is seasoned with sesame oil instead of vinegar and sugar. I guess if you were expecting sushi you would have had a shock!

So good!

We tried almost half of the menu (mostly small plates, though) and loved almost everything! Would give 5 stars but the only main we got was not that flavourful and not as nice as the rest, plus they don’t have a customer toilet which is understandable in such tiny a space but still a bit of an inconvenience. Will definitely be back, though!

Lovely little Korean spot

Cosy Korean spot with an all vegan menu. Great if you want to try some Korean classics but haven’t been able to try much at other places because it isn’t always vegan. It is very small so go with a small party or earlier in the evening.

Delightful

MukBap is a delightful little Korean restaurant that offers a cozy atmosphere. It’s quite small, so be prepared to wait for a table, but it’s totally worth it (especially for the cute plates!). The food is perfect for a quick bite while exploring the city. If you’re in the mood for some delicious Korean cuisine, Mukbap is a great choice!

A Cozy Korean Find Off the Beaten Path

We happened to be nearby and were a little hungry, and this place turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s tucked away on a small side street and easy to miss - we almost walked past it. The restaurant itself is very small, but we were lucky as it was quiet when we arrived, with more people coming in gradually.
The menu is quite extensive, which made choosing difficult in the best way. I really love Korean cuisine and everything here felt very authentic. I wanted to try dishes I don’t often see in vegan versions, so we ordered kimmari and kimbap - both were absolutely delicious and such a treat. The warm yuzu tea was also excellent and highly recommended.
For our main dishes, I chose the bulgogi while my companion had the japchae. Both were very tasty and well prepared. The service was incredibly kind, the food arrived quickly, and the overall experience felt very welcoming. As we were leaving, we were even given some candies, which was such a sweet gesture.
I would definitely come back to try more dishes - a lovely little spot that’s well worth seeking out.

not that nice

The noodle portion was small and it felt like mostly noodles with a small amount of veg, and a coating of a sugary sauce. I would have liked more protein.

Cute little spot .. don’t walk past

A small venue run by a guy who ventured on his own to make vegan Korean food.. go support him! The portions could have been bigger for the price.

Pros: Spicy “chicken” pieces were tasty , Sweet potato Japchae was good

Cons: Portions a bit small
