Bay Windows & Bean Roasts - Edit
Located in a small strip mall behind Valley West Shopping Center sits Mugshots Coffee Company, a larger-than-normal coffee house that roasts their own coffee beans in-house and offers 4 plant-based milk alternatives (oat, almond, soy & coconut).
Read moreThe good news is that the vegan tax for plant-based milk alternatives is only $0.25 more than cow milk. The not-so-good news is that it still costs $1.00, and there are no vegan or veganizable food options, except maybe oatmeal or a salad (ask if veganizable). But personally I don't visit a coffee house for the food so that isn't necessarily a deal breaker, for me at least.
Besides the usual coffee and espresso selections (available hot, iced and blended), there is a nice selection of black, white, herbal, green, and oolong teas, and other non-coffee items such as kombucha on tap.
There is a large sitting/gathering room with a bay window that opens to the outside, for an enjoyable seasonal breeze and view.
