Amazing vegan, gluten free - Edit
This is probably my favorite restaurant in the Hallowell area! The owners are amazing, there are MANY vegan options and everything but the naan is gluten free! I’ve tried at least 5 entrees and all the vegan appetizers and I loved it every time. Highly recommend. Best Indian food in Kennebec county, I’ve been to many others.

Best Indian food in area - Edit
So far this is the best Indian food that we have found around the Augusta area and we have tried a handful since moving here. Finally found one as good as back home… the place didn’t look like much but the food proved otherwise. If you like Indian food, this is your place! Delicious and fresh, just the right amount of spice and the gentleman at the register (we took it to go) was friendly and personable. We will definitely be back.

Let it be known that I would give this place 5 stars on here if I could. It's located next to a gas station nowhere in particular that matters, so it feels like a secret. There are so many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options that you might forget how to make choices. I cannot stop ordering the channa masala and the vegetable pakora. I also have a dairy allergy, and they have been incredibly accommodating every time. My hope is that this place stays open a long time, because they're just about the best food in the Augusta area.

Excellent Food with tons of vegan options - Edit
This is a gem in the Capitol area. They have a ton of clearly marked vegan options including vegan naan! We had chana saag and aloo mattar. It was excellent. I would have rated this a 5 but HappyCow doesn’t allow non-veg restaurants to be 5s. Definitely will go again and again. We use to drive to Brunswick for Indian food but won’t anymore. Also, the family that own the restaurant are super nice.
