Vegan Seafood by the Sea! - Edit
I couldn't believe that a boardwalk seafood restaurant had VEGAN fish options! I spent a long weekend in Ocean City and dined at this place twice. I ordered a vegan crab cake sandwich with homemade remoulade. Prior to becoming vegan, crab cakes were one of my favorite meals...the crab cake was well made (fried just right!) and very tasty. On my second visit, I got fried "fish" tacos, which were also very good. It was nice to enjoy some "seafood" by the sea!

It was passable lol. I got the fishless chips. It came with what a vegan version of whatever that usual sauce is people eat with fish and chips is. I think the fish were gardien fish filets or something—not 18$ worth of food but hey it’s the boardwalk and it was a decent meal and I was happy it was available. They have really good mocktails too if you’re into that.

I’ve go here every summer and get the crabless cake sandwich, so crispy and delicious! The fries and sauce go great with it! Best vegan “crab” cake in Ocean City!

Way more vegan options than you would expect for a boardwalk seafood place. Got the crabless cake sandwich with fries and the fishless and chips and they were very good. Service wise, the food runner got confused and brought out a regular fish and chips. We said something and the waitress apologized and got us the right thing super quick, but would be good to know to look out for that possibility.

It’s nice that they made a whole vegan seafood menu. I really liked the shrimpless cocktail. My husband liked the crabless cake. We didn’t care for the shrimpless tacos, I think it’s because they were covered in vegan cheddar cheese and we aren’t fans of that. Overall I think it’s impressive that they managed to develop such unique dishes and are really trying to help people who don’t eat meat.

The homemade crab cake was phenomenal. Really really tasty!! And it’s so hard to find vegan shrimp anywhere. Although honestly they were a bit rubbery in the shrimp cocktail. Would have been better warm. Overall can’t be beat for OCMD!!

Lots of vegan options to choose from. I went to the restaurant 2 days in a row. The first night I had the shrimpless entree. It was very good. Their butter is dairy free. The second night I had the crabless entree. It tasted weird and was over cooked. Seems hit or miss depending on how what day you go.

10 stars! If you have food allergies, the owner here GETS IT. It's hard to eat out with my unusual allergies (alpha gal syndrome) but I have never felt more taken care of. I reached out beforehand to check what might be safe for me and she went so far above and beyond there's no star rating high enough.

They were out of the crab cakes so we got the ‘shrimp’ tacos and the fishless fish and chips. It was great. The fish look like Gardein fish so if this was near my home I wouldn’t order that for the price but since we were at the beach I can let it slide lol and it came with a vegan tarter sauce which we didn’t expect it! The shrimp tacos were great loaded with pico de gallo, lettuce and cheese.

I am from Baltimore so vegan crabcakes are staple vegan meals. This is the BEST crabcake I’ve ever had. Not greasy and cheaply loaded with old bay. It actually does a great job.
The shrimp is SO much better than any shrimp I’ve had at a Chinese place. It’s not grossly gooey. It’s solid yummy shrimp.
The boom boom sauce is house made and tastes perfect. So is the tarter sauce.
The only thing that was average was the fish. The fish fillet are the gardien fish fillets.

Waitress knew her stuff. She even reassured me that the bang bang sauce was vegan before I asked. I had the vegan fish tacos and the vegan shrimp. Both were delicious. The vegan bang bang sauce was a great addition to the tacos. My non-vegan friends enjoyed their meals too.

Loved that they had a vegan menu and our waitress was very knowledgeable. It was so good we went back twice ! First time we started with the Shrimp Cocktail , very good and that sauce ummm yes sooooo yum and had a nice kick to it. Then I had the fishless tacos ( I wanted the crab cake but it was sold out ) they were very good. Our second time going I had the crab cake !! It was delicious and it’s very big! It comes with a bag of chips. I highly recommend coming here. This place is a must !!

Gave 3 stars because my fishless tacos were bland, but I was here last year and the food was pretty good. There are so few vegan options on the boardwalk! I love seeing other items besides a side salad and beyond burger. And, they now actually have the vegan items listed on their full menu, instead of on a separate menu that you had to request previously.

Wasn’t boring, run of the mill, one single token vegan options, stuff! Actually great food and un-average options! I was so impressed and that doesn’t happen often with most not full veg places.
I highly recommend the “shrimp” cocktail! It was so great! The “fish” tacos were good as well!

I was very impressed with the vegan menu at a very traditional seafood restaurant. We had the chick’n nuggets for an appetizer and I had the fish-less tacos; both were delicious. You do have to pay extra for sides other than chips, (the fries and veg of the day are vegan) which is not made clear on the menu.

As much as I disliked sitting next to people smashing crabs with mallets, I appreciated the good sized vegan menu. We tried the shrimpless cocktail, crabless cake sandwich, and shrimpless tacos. All were delicious!
