Very filling options

I love it when omni places put a lot of effort into their vegan dishes. Currently they have at least 2 breakfast dishes that are really filling. The Travis Birkenstock is a breakfast burrito filled with tofu and I believe broccoli rabe. They also have a skillet dish with potatoes, mushrooms, vegan cheese, vegan chorizo, and vegan egg.

Pros: Multiple options, Vegan dishes are well-crafted, not an afterthough, Cool atmosphere

Long Lines of the Weekend

3.5⭐️ The best dirty chai in ATL!!! The drinks are good here in general. I've had the burrito offered at lunch which is fine but definitely needs salsa. I ask them to grill it more because I want the cheese to be melted. I want to try the dinner menu options.

Filling

I ordered the plant and shrooms skillet and it was tasty and filling. The atmosphere is cute and the staff was friendly. The dish was a good value for the money.

Don't come here hangry

I love the interior and exterior of Muchacho. It has a nice large patio area. The menu is very vegan-friendly though everything is 20-30% more expensive than it should be for what you get.

What I dislike about Muchacho is the process. You have to stand in a line to order your food. It often goes out the door to the traffic light, and, even if it isn't that long, you will be standing there for a while. If people order drinks, they will make the drinks for them before taking the next people's order. I came one morning, and there were maybe ten people in line, but I waited 30 minutes to order. Plus, people will cut the line to get in with their friends. It's just a frustrating situation. Then, you take a number. I watched the staff scramble all over the place trying to find where people were sitting.

I got the vegan chorizo burrito. I wanted to get the vegan breakfast burrito, but breakfast service stops at 11 am, so, while I got there before 11, I didn't get to the first of the line before then. It was good but very greasy. I wish I had gotten something fresh like some salsa on the side to cut through the heaviness. With tax the total for my one burrito came to $18. 😬 I have definitely gotten bigger burrito at other places for the same or less.

Overall, I do like Muchacho, but I will be picky about when I come here given the long waits and prices.

Pros: Vegan options labeled , Large patio area, Gorgeous interior

Cons: Slow service, Long line, Expensive
