Reduced vegan menu - Edit
There is still a separate vegan menu, but much fewer options than they used to have. My friend and I both had the vegan burger which was nice enough, but they had run out of chips. This place would be my second choice in Dumfries, after Pumpernickel.

Cons: Less choice than a few years ago, Ran out of chips by 1pm

Lovely dog friendly cafe - Edit
Lovely friendly cafe run by people who care about you enjoying your experience. Nothing was too much for them. Visited as an adult family of 5 with 2 dogs. One vegan in the party and plenty of selection as well as delicious vegan cake (lemon cake) and non dairy hot drinks. Clean, quaint and homey feel - thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly staff and dog friendly too. A good selection of well thought through vegan options including desserts. Vegan haggis and chilli jam sandwich with vegan cheese was a delight

Separate vegan menu - Edit
We came here for lunch today and were impressed by the range of options on offer on the separate vegan menu. We ended up both having the vegan cheese toastie with chilli jam which was very nice.

Lovely cafe - Edit
Staff were really friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Food was also lovely! I had soup which was served with delicious bread. The carrot cake looked nice (not vegan). I also had a slice of salted caramel cheesecake which was really nice, although it was a very small slice.

Best dirty chai EVER! - Edit
What a lovely little cafe! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Separate vegan section on menu with plenty of options including vegan breakfast, burger, toasties, soup and cheesecake. The burger and breakfast were both delicious and good sized portions. The dirty chai latte was the best I've ever had! Soya, oat and almond milk available.

The decor is unique and welcoming. As for the menu, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of vegan options. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. I will definitely pop in again when I'm back in Dumfries.

Lovely Vegan Options - Edit
Visit regularly. The vegan options is lovely and there are usually some vegan specials available too. My work regularly buys breakfast rolls from here and my vegan sausage roll is always well wrapped, well labelled and delicious. Staff and owners are super friendly and accommodating. And they’re dog friendly!

Many options - Edit
Only had a coffee but saw they had an extensive vegan menu, which has to be asked for. Again unfortunately no vegan cakes that day but soups, sandwiches etc. Very comfortable and has WiFi so a good place to work

Vegan menu - Edit
Had a lunch here with some others - good range on the vegan menu, but no vegan cake on that day. Tasty food, good portions, friendly staff. Quirky decor.

Have visited here several times for coffee and toast(soya or almond milk and dairy free spread) . Also have had the burger for lunch ( delicious) . Will return soon to try the breakfast. Found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. Can be busy at peak times.
