Questionable “vegan” menu - Edit
I’ve eaten here several times, and I always order the vegan lo mein since it is ON the vegan menu. I recently called in a pick up order and was told that the lo mein noodles are not vegan, that they contain egg, and that they were never vegan. They offered a rice noodle option as an alternative, which has never been offered when I’m dining in the restaurant. I hate that this happened because it’s the only place in town with a vegan menu- but it looks like the vegan menu can’t be trusted.

Only place within a million miles with anything labeled vegan. I ate Mala tofu and took mapo tofu to go.

I'm in town for a conference and there are not a lot of options around town for a vegan meal. After reading the previous reviews, I put in a take-out order with instructions for "no egg and no oyster saurce." When I picked it up, the man who checked me out thanked me for the reminder and was very nice. I'm eating my meal now (braised tofu and mei fun vegetables) and it's very tasty. Large portions at a very low price too.

Lots of options but unsure if the vegan menu is actually vegan or vegetarian - Edit
Their vegan menu looks great and I ordered fried rice. It came with egg and when I asked about it I was told I needed to specify no eggs. They were super nice and I can confirm the lo mein noodles don’t have egg (I’m allergic to eggs)

Best Vegan Options in The Shoals - Edit
They are so great about making anything you like. They have a vegan menu, but also can make things off menu. Super knowledgeable about veganism and gluten free. I am celiac and they are very careful
